Summary
Joshua Graham's hands have only ever known violence. He's trying to rectify that.
He always assumed that what happened to him at the first battle of Hoover Dam was divine punishment, for all the sins he'd committed in the name of someone who was once a dear friend. Since then, Joshua Graham has tried to live righteously, and has done all that he can to try and protect what's left of the local Dead Horses and Sorrows to make up for what he's done in the past. But, his efforts to guide and protect them haven't helped much. No matter how hard he tries, he still feels lost. Many a-night, he'd pray to his Lord until the early hours of the morning, begging him for a little bit of guidance. For years, there was nothing but silence.
Then, God delivers one of his angels to Graham, who is relieved.
