The room was dimly lit, soft candlelight being the only illumination in the room, the crackling of charcoal reminding him of how heated the room had gotten, sweat dripping from his skin, tacking his clothes to his form. Yet, it was the fire that made him hot and bothered, it was the curious and scrutinizing gazes of those in the room with them, their eyes all trained on him.
