That means that Frisk is the monster royalty, and Asriel is the unlucky human. There are a few other changes here and there that will clear as the story goes on, but the main characters all keep their respective places.

She does this out of the kindness of her soul along with her determination, of course... okay, and maybe the forbidden belief of one day being with a certain skeleton adds to her motivation as well. Her obstacles range from narrow-minded humans to hopeless monsters. But perhaps her biggest obstacle is something— or someone— hiding inside her very soul...
