Summary
Frisk had a plan for everything. A plan for their education, a plan for their career, a plan for the next thirty years of their life, and exactly how they were going to free monsterkind from humanity once and for all.
But Frisk didn’t have a plan for this.
What is there to do when your body is dying and this time you can’t time-travel your way out? What can you do when all of the secrets you hide away in the back of your mind are coming out, ready to destroy the life you built? Frisk doesn’t know. So they do the thing they know to do best—They run away.
Its never too late to change. Its never too late to be better.
Will Frisk remember who they really are, and love themselves again? Or will they let hatred consume them?
One thing is for certain. Their friends wont let them throw their life away. No matter how hard it becomes or how painful the journey is.

They meet in the darkness, in that instant after death. They’re all angry, and frightened, and more alike than they know.
These four children - Frisk and Chara, Chara and Frisk, they all have somewhere important to be. They all have a desperate need, something that they cannot abandon no matter what.
They have to keep going, keep pushing forward, no matter how many times they fail. No matter how many times they die, and meet up in that darkened place again.
After all - they still have the DETERMINATION to see this journey through.

“it’s just…you keep acting like something horrible is waiting for you at the bottom of this mountain.” His whispered voice was calculated and obnoxiously observant.
Frisk chewed their lip and felt their nails subconsciously start digging into their palm. The last thing they wanted to do was ruin anyone’s excitement about the surface with their own anxieties. If anything, they thought they’d been hiding their fears pretty damn well.
“There are some things, Sans…” their voice seemed to start against their will, hushed and constricted. They put a hand over their heart, which was beating restlessly.
“…that I just can’t explain to you,” Frisk finished exasperatedly.

Frisk climbs a mountain and inadvertently awakens an ancient terror sleeping beneath the flowerbed they land on when they fall. If by "ancient terror" one assumes the less-popular definition of "annoying narrator-ghost princet of monsterkind who is now, unfortunately, permanently stuck in their head."
Chara doesn't want to be awake. They especially don't want to be helpless in the back of a bloodthirsty human's head, watching them ruin the only home they've ever known with no power other than their voice to fight back with. Luckily for them, that's not what's happening at all. Unluckily for them, they may have to re-evaluate a few things about their worldview. Which, for someone as set in their ways as them, is not an easy thing to do.
(Then there's the matter of the weird flower, Frisk's unusual powers, and the Longest of Long Days the underground has ever seen.)Chara & Frisk no player AU true pacifist. Completed!
