    "Father. We've discussed this several times, we do not feel there is reason to rush through the engagement. I appreciate the interest in us devoting more time to planning but—" When Link placed a hand over the back of his, he paused and looked to him.

    Link held his free hand flat with fingers straightened and tapped his thumb to his sternum twice. 'It's fine.'

    Sidon's hand rotated under Link's, his long fingers curling around and squeezing his hand endearingly. He knows they can't put it off forever.

    In an age of great healing across Hyrule, they are content. King Sidon has taken quickly to his new responsibilities, and Link is balancing his regular duties as Zelda's knight and companion, aware his time in Central Hyrule is limited.

    The wedding has come up before and they've tried redirecting the topic time and time again, expressing they are in no hurry. When the topic is broached once again, Link suspects an unspoken urgency — after all, a Hylian life lasts only a fraction of the average Zora.

He's not so bad himself, and he just so happens to be going the same way, so you strike up the usual travel companion arrangement. Over the course of the next few years, however, secrets, lies, false realities, and true fictions accumulate and weigh down on you each time this bird flits in and out of your life. It's too much, and not enough.

    A Breath of the Wild AU Post Calamity-Ganon story where not just King Rhoam and the Champions had fallen over a hundred years ago, but also Impa, Purah, Robbie, Kohga, and Sooga as well. Upon given a blessing from Hylia presumably at life once more, they find Hyrule has changed massively since the Calamity. After rushing Link and these unknown people to Kakariko Village for medical treatment... With the help of Terrako's memories and several recordings from the Sheikah Slate, Zelda, the Champions, and many others will be able to watch snippets of Link's journey, learning about these unfamiliar faces, who they were, why they traveled with Link... and... see just how much Link has changed from the stoic, silent knight they had known a hundred years ago.
