"I can honestly say that you and I have been in an on - off - on again relationship for some time. You came back to me when I really needed you the most. The detective left me without so much as a word, so I assumed she wanted nothing to do with me. Then, like the Angel you are, you came back to heal my wounded heart, and we're together once more," he leaned in and kissed him softly. "and I couldn't be happier."
He returned the kiss in earnest. Feeling the truth in his words, Michael breathed him in deep, "You healed me, Sam."
"We healed each other, darling."
