It also led to unpredictable situations.

However—Roy Mustang had risen through the ranks too quickly, and as a potential human sacrifice, he bore closer watching. And perfectly, Mustang’s closest friend was having trouble conceiving with his wife.
So enter Selim, an orphan boy from King Bradley’s hometown who just happened to have gotten lost while coming to Central for the first time and pitifully bumping into Lieutenant Colonel Maes Hughes.

Edward Elric has always gone about his journey knowing that he personally had nothing left to lose in life anymore. He simply trudged onwards, knowing that his last remaining purpose was to retrieve his little brother’s stolen body, to return the irreplaceable. Other than that, he felt that it was all fair game from here on out, that things simply could not possibly get any more twisted than they already were.
Until one day, that is, when his life is yet again turned upside-down upon unexpectedly presenting as an omega. As if his existence was not already complicated enough, biology had to make its play as well.
Though the world around him was ever-changing and evolving, society still did not look too broadly upon omegas. It would be up to the alpha-positive Roy Mustang to save what little bit of normalcy Edward’s life still held in it.
That is, of course, if the Flame Alchemist would even bother to help. After all, for a man with everything to gain, what good would it be to have a helpless, young omega on his team…even if that omega just so happened to be the Fullmetal Alchemist?Series

Hohenheim comes back and Ed tries the transmutation on his own. Unable to forgive himself, Ed strikes out on his own and Hohenheim raises Al. Time shifts a bit differently and adopted by Maes Hughes, Edward Elric is going to define a new path for Amestris. Ed-Centric.
KEYnotes: Maes does not die. Nor key the others. Alfonse loses nothing, so Ed pays with both leg and arm. Homunculi are made by the Dwarf in the Flask, not failed transmutation.
Major AU: The timeline is different. The Dwarf in the Flask's plan is delayed. Alfonse and Hohenheim are in this, just toward the end of the second half of the story.

A little devastated cuz I doubt I’ll get that final chapter but honestly it doesn’t end on a terrible cliff hanger, Ed was presumed dead and Ling and Greed merged to save Lings life and Ed and Ling were dating and in live and Greed loved Ed but neither have reunited with Ed they only found out he was alive. So that’s sad I don’t get to see that, and whatever the epilogue would contain, but it’s like totally readable even incomplete

For as long as Pride could remember, he had been Father's only child. Father would always assign him tasks that needed to be completed—gathering information and killing those that challenged Father's ultimate goal—yet Pride never once had any issues with it because he knew he was his father's one and only son. But after a successful mission to the surface, Pride discovers that Father has decided one homunculus isn't enough. Even worse, Father has decided that it's Pride's responsibility to raise his two new siblings.
But, at the very least, there's only two of them.
Also known as: a prequel to the now completed Ripple Effect, a fic where the homunculi are good and join Ed and Al on their journey to stop Father.
Alternatively: a world where the Pride's first five siblings are all created within the same nineteen years, and how this changes everything for all of them.

However, when Classic himself is brought into their multiversal meeting, they find Error has always known where the Original Undertale was. In fact, he'd been actively visiting it as a friend.
