Summary
Not long after the events at Mersault the Agency found themselves with a new case, a request from the outside asking for one of the detectives to go and help keep some students safe. Now, all Dazai wanted was to simply rest but the universe decided that that would not happen and he was chosen to go for the mission, at the same time the actions of the HPSC have become concerning and another agent will be sent out as well, the lucky one being the newest addition to the Agency, Sigma.
Kunikida did not actually trust either of them to keep themselves in check, plus his experience on being a teacher could help Dazai, so while it was not the original plan he decided he would also be going
In short Dazai becomes a teacher/bodyguard, Sigma will be infiltrating the government and Kunikida continues being the mom friend

Fukuzawa cleared his throat, sitting his cup of tea down on his desk. "You and I both know the first twenty-four hours are the most vital to find someone alive. It's been a month, Dazai. Our chances are slim.” Dazai could feel his eye twitch and anger bubble in his gut.“Maybe it’s slim for the average person, but Kunikida is not the average person! I can’t believe no one is doing anything about him being gone! Our client in-take has been low, we have so many cases just sitting unsolved, and people are just sitting on their asses doing nothing since our structure is gone!” The nullist started, irritation growing each second. “We might have been weak after the Decay of Angels and the Hunting Dogs tried to drag us through the mud, but Kunikida was the main one who got us out of it and cleared our name. Is this how we are going to thank him, Fukuzawa?”

Being trans masc myself, I tend to aim the trans beam at a LOT of characters.
