Summary

Kuai Liang went completely still. Panic crashed over him in an instant.
Had he really forgotten to move the portrait to the separate folder?
How could he have made such a mistake?
He could only stare at Hanzo in alarm, desperately trying to remember if he'd written anything compromising.
Hanzo sat down beside him, eagerly studying his portrait. Kuai Liang caught glimpses of it—Hanzo smiling softly, tenderly, his features bathed in sunlight. Then his gaze darted to the inscription at the bottom. He never wrote captions for his sketches. But Hanzo had always been the exception.
"In the city of rains, it's always sunny," Hanzo read aloud, his voice hushed and rough with wonder. "In the city of rains..."
Kuai Liang didn't know what to do. Should he joke it away—claim it was just practice? Say it had been an accident? If only Hanzo didn't discover the stacks of other portraits... the unspoken confessions...
"Why is it always sunny in the city of rains, Kuai Liang?" Hanzo turned toward him. He was looking straight at him, intently, his eyes reflecting light.
