Summary
Chara knows Sans blames her for what happened, even if he doesn't fully understand who or what she is. That she's more than just a shapeless blob of hate leeching off of Frisk, that she was once a friend.
The demon that comes when people call its name. It didn't matter, as she was just a tether and pawn to Frisk, but maybe the usually mild tempered and sweet child was actually being controlled... Just not by her, up until the very end where their rise in stats gives her complete control in order to stop the madness. Corrupted by this entity's desire to gain power, she believes erasing the world is all that's left for them, but they refuse, and she's bewildered. She destroys it anyways, but they come back and force her hand to give the world back. Chara ends up caving in, and as Frisk completes another happy ending, they seem to go back to themself.
She's confused, but happy as Frisk finds a way to bring her and her brother back. All that's left is to reconcile with her childhood friend.
