After a few resets, Sans and his group are finally on the surface. The kid hasn't made a move to do it again which is great. Sometimes random bouts of pain pop up but he'll be fine.

Update 2/25/22: I have not abandoned this series! I have however misplaced the doc file I had it in. I'm pretty sure it's saved to my old laptop so it may be a bit before I can get it back. If I'm unable to recover the file then I may need to start again which means I'll probably end up rewriting "Getting Heated". If I do then I'll leave the old version up and just post the new version separately. But be warned that the new version probably won't be the same as the old since my ideas for the series have of course grown and changed in the time since I last posted.

He helps his dad in the lab, triple checking equations, writing up simple code and sometimes even helping his dad and the engineering team overhaul huge sections of the barely-functioning brand new CORE. And on busy nights he worked the dish-pit at Grillin's restaurant for pocket change. But he's also a teenager, and as smart at teens may think they are, they're still prone to making decisions that they aren't ready to handle.
One night sans discovers something that will change his life forever, he doesn't have the strength to tell his dad about it and instead shoulders the burden himself.
How will sans deal with the consequences of his actions? How will his friends and family react when they inevitably find out? And most importantly, what is he going to do with a tiny baby skeleton?

let me describe to you a hypothetical situation. you are a time traveler. you work in the business of space and time and whatever distortion that may be caused by any such anomaly. timelines jumping left and right and the space-time continuum would be bursting at the seams if this loop wasn’t trapped in its own bubble, making your job of discerning who being positioned where in time in space irrelevant and admittedly— a lot easier. your job is to do whatever it takes and whatever you can to shut this down, even at the risk of your own life. you just wish he wasn’t here with you. even though he needed to be. couldn’t he have taken the day off? you can’t help but wonder how many times you’ve stepped out that door.
