    “Come on, Mikey. Don’t go falling asleep now.” Raph holds Mikey close, as if he can single-handedly push back the wind and snow with his bare hands. But Donnie can’t help but notice that the eldest is also blinking a little heavier than usual. In fact, Leo is also somewhat sluggish, though he only notices because he’s watched how Leo darts between actions all his life.
    Okay, so maybe staying out in the cold all day and fighting a giant polar bear wasn’t a good idea. For reptiles, that is.
    However, the tiredness Donnie feels buzzing in his brain is easily pushed back. They’re all much safer than Mikey, who is slipping away from them with each second.

    Post “Snow Day”, Mikey tearing his coat has drastic consequences that result in him freezing and slipping into brumation.

    TLDR: Box turtles, when hibernating, can have no detectable pulse or heartbeat. None of Mikey’s brothers are aware of this and believe that they have just watched their youngest brother die.

    Officially 8 months past the Kraang invasion, AKA K-Day, the Hamato family is doing rather well, physical injuries healed and mental scars slowly soothing. Mikey has gotten a great handle on his mystic powers through Draxums help! He uses them constantly at this point, for practice and practicality, and messing with the others by walking on the ceiling never gets old! All the new areas to paint too, it has been a month since he had properly, 100%, mastered the skills and used them daily.
    However...it seems that an odd side effect comes with it, nothing that Mikey cannot handle though! Right?

    tldr: Mikey basically gets mystic sick, wont tell ANYONE, and it ends in a very bad not so good time :D

    This story is not for the faint of heart fans of TMNT for this is a horror story based on the horror/thriller PC game called: American McGee's Alice (Basically a horror version of Alice in Wonderland)

    Similar to the episode in TMNT's 2012 Season 4: Journey to the Centre of Mikey's Mind, the plot takes place two years after sensei's death and during one patrol, they encountered a witch who infected Mikey into with a poison that sends him into coma of everlasting nightmares, destroying his once precious Wonderland-like mind into a nightmarish hell that is not only destroying Mikey's mind but the person itself.

    Seeking help from an enchantress, the brothers, April, Casey, Karai & Leatherhead went into Mikey's mind and helps him on a journey to remove the curse from Mikey's mind. Along the way, the brothers face twisted versions of themselves in Mikey's mind and realising that their baby brother may not be quite what they all thought he would be.

    Will Mikey and his brothers rid the infection that is destroying his Wonderland and save himself or will he be lost to the nightmarish world forever?

    He blinked sluggishly, rolling onto his front. He had tried to draw to take his mind off these feelings, but he couldn't hold the stupid pencil. He hadn't even gone out for lunch...

    "MIKEY!" He heard Raph call, making him wince. Raph's loud voice didn't do his head any favors... "COME ON, TIME FOR PATROL!"

    Humming slightly, Michelangelo forced himself to move, swaying on the spot. Oh, shell... everything was spinning and he felt too hot-

    Hold up.

    He froze on the spot. Slowly, he put the back of his hand against his forehead. He... he was warm. Really warm...

    Burning throat, trouble breathing, shaky limbs, tiredness, loss of appetite...

    "...Oh my shell." Mikey groaned, covering his face with his hands. He couldn't be serious...

    Did he seriously brush a fever off for his asthma all day?

He complained, even more pissed off when he saw the orange bandana through blurry vision. Seriously? It was too late for this. "The fuck are you doing awake at this hour Mike-..."

    The words died on his tongue when he saw the tears dripping down his cheeks. Now that he was closer, the older could hear the shudders in his breath. 

    His expression went from annoyed to concerned so fast, any other day it would have been funny. "Mikey-?"

    His brother didn't answer. Instead, without facing him, he lifted the blankets, and got underneath them- head an all, before he let the blanket smother him. 

    "Woah, hey..." Raph tried to sit up, but stopped when he felt Mikey's arms around his stomach, face nuzzling against his plastron. 

    ...Which felt... hot. 

    Sickly-hot.
