He walked around to where the gates were shackled shut, lingering there for a moment. He walked back around to the boys and crouched by the fence. A tiger came up, rubbing its body along it, and then it turned, going back. It nuzzled its head against it. Mingi put his hand against the chain link fence, and the cat licked it twice. Mingi smiled. He slipped two fingers through, scratching its head.
Chan watched closely with a small smile, and Changbin also eyed the boy in amazement. He had never seen anyone like Mingi; no human had ever had a connection with animals like this—it made Changbin think that the boy couldn't be human, but he was.
He was a normal teenage boy, attracting animals who saw a loving aura and goodness in him.
Strange... Changbin thought.

He should have known his momentary Bliss couldn't last forever. It's probably for the better though, maybe a certain red hooded man in a certain horrendous city could help heal the grief that is ingrained in Peter's soul. Regrettably that is one more leap of faith Peter isn't sure he has the courage to take. Only time will tell.
