Everyone has different threads that bind them to people in their lives. Upon first meeting someone, a specifically colored thread appears between the two people, tightens/solidifies, and glows. Once it has, then it fades. The threads can be walked through by those not affected, but those who are, are frozen, unable to move or speak.

She wasn’t sure what it was with them, but something was weird; not bad weird, not good weird—just undefinable weird. They were never off to a good start, so maybe it was that. Maybe it was her. To be fair to the administrator or consultant or whatever it was she did, upon meeting Frankie, Britta’s first thought had been pretty negative.
Actually, that was a lie. Her first thought was, “Wow, she’s so pretty.” Her second thought was, “Wow, her voice is so nice.” Her third and ultimately most important thought was, “Wow, what a bitch.”
The other two really weren’t important.
This story is on hiatus, but I haven’t given up on it. I just don’t have the inspiration to work on it yet but later chapters are planned and I will update again when I can.

Summary
Britta would never say it, but she wanted to be swept off her feet. She wanted Prince Charming to come along and take everything that was wrong with her world and make it good. She wanted a healthy distraction and a home in the form of someone else. She wanted to receive as much love as she was used to giving, for once. She wanted to become so wrapped up in someone else's life that they would never even think of letting her go.
Britta starts dating Rick when he comes back to Greendale. This goes about as well as anyone could have expected it to.
A rewrite of s06e07 Advanced Safety Features, the events of that episode stretched out to happen over the course of about two months.
