“The hathea berry is traditionally consumed at the end of the festival,” they say, which Hunk takes to mean that they absolutely need to eat it. He glances sidelong at Keith, who looks equally wary, but picks one up anyway, frowning at it. Hunk takes the other one, looking at it more closely. It’s hard to tell what color it is—he thought it was blue at first, but it seems like it shifts indigo the longer he looks at it, then deep pink.
He looks over at Keith again, about to ask if they should scan it to make sure it’s safe for human consumption, but he’s already chewing.
“Dude,” he says, taken aback. Keith glances at him, seemingly unbothered, and swallows. He wipes his thumb over his lips, smearing purple juice on his fingertip.
“What?” He asks, brow furrowed.

It’s dumb how jealous he gets when he sees Shiro and Keith together. They’re spending more time together than ever, with Keith practically glued to Shiro’s side, as if he’ll disappear if he’s let out of his sight. Lance knows for a fact that they’re sharing a bed, and the ring of bite marks on Shiro’s throat would suggest that they’re sharing more than that.
Worst of all, it should make his blood boil. It should make him angry, make him lash out.
