God, she hates having to get up in the middle of the night. She hopes she’ll be able to fall back asleep with ease after this. Luckily, she doesn’t think it’ll be too hard, as she’s over at Mischa’s house with the rest of the choir for a sleepover, and she’s always found it easier to fall asleep at other people’s homes than her own. Something about it feeling safer to her, more comforting. More secure, even.
But before she can even think about going back to bed, she has to do something about this awful taste in her mouth.
Turning on the sink, Ocean hunches over to cup some water to her lips to try and wash the taste away, but when she opens her mouth, something comes out.
