“Lou,” he said quietly. “My hand.”
Anne leaned in before Louis could answer, smoothing a thumb over Harry’s shoulder. “It’ll be alright, love.”
Harry frowned at her, impatient even half-conscious. “That’s my dominant one.”
Then he turned his head back toward Louis, green eyes clearer now, searching his face for the truth.
“Lou.”
Louis felt his own chest tighten. Of course this would be the thing. The bakery. The dough, the piping bags, the muscle memory Harry trusted more than language some days.
Or: Louis and Harry are happily married until a car accident leaves Harry facing a long recovery, chronic pain, and a body that doesn’t feel like his anymore. Louis copes the only way he knows how: medication alarms, humor, and a stubborn refusal to fall apart. Unfortunately, denial is not a long-term care plan.
Or: Harry changes, Louis cracks, and Patricia the shower bench becomes part of the family.

Stiles wrenched his hand free and took a step back, but before he could even think up a gameplan, he felt a prick in his neck and jerked away, reaching up to slap one hand against it and twisting in the same moment.
One of the others had come up behind him while he hadn’t been paying attention, and his vision began to swim even as his eyes caught sight of the half-empty syringe the guy was holding.

Summary
Louis Tomlinson is his school’s resident bad boy and easily the most liked person there. He’s loud and confident and popular. He spends most of his time abusing his parent's money or partying or playing football. He also spends a good deal of it obsessing over the quiet curly boy in his English class, but no one really needs to know that.
Harry Styles is more or less invisible at the same school (unless he’s being harassed). He’s shy and painfully insecure and quiet. He spends most of his time crying on his bedroom floor with a razor pressed against his skin or trying (and failing) to think of reasons to stay alive.
So, of course, it’s inevitable that they fall for each other.

I never would have guessed that on this night I would have only wanted one set of particularly green eyes to meet mine. But that's all I think about now as I try and coax them open, and I start to wonder why I ever thought I needed more." -LT
Or the one where the boys are on tour in mid summer in Southern Spain, it gets too hot, Harry get's hurt, Louis tries to help, and everyone has hopes that things will be okay and bounce back to normal. But they don't and suddenly everyone is starting over in new places, just trying to figure everything out.

Summary
The rain pattered down the window by his room as he sat, his warm cheek cooling against the glass. The city bustled below him as the lights in his room occasionally flickered. He twitched slightly as he rubbed over the bandages on his wrists.
“Mr. Styles? Did you hear me?” A man asked, his voice soft with pity. The boy just nodded, still looking out the window. “It’s Group now, Harry.” The man said again, his voice a little less soft. Harry silently sighed, slowly standing up from his spot on the windowsill. His feet padded against the bland tile floor, the December air raising bumps on his skin from the window.
“Do you know your way, or would you like me to escort you?”Or
Harry has Psychotic Depression and doesn't speak, he's been in the hospital teen recovery ward for five months. Louis is anorexic and has just been admitted to the hospital. The two are pulled apart and put back together for months, but when a girl named Ophelia comes to the hospital, triggering Harry back into a Psychotic state, how will Louis pull him back to the surface?

Louis rubbed his head closing his eyes again for a moment. God damn this patient coming in and lying to his face. God damn him for being so hurt and scared and for crying. God damn him for being so beautiful and so broken.
He scratched his head before looking back up, scanning Harry’s face very carefully. He merely stared back at him, sniffling slightly before holding his hands up in a pleading gesture, his fingers crossed in a praying stance.
“Please, Dr. Tomlinson…” His voice cracked and Louis couldn’t help but sigh in distress. He shook his head, gritting his teeth as he struggled to remember his duties as a doctor. Harry whimpered softly and Louis knew more tears were falling without even having to look. He bit his lip, closing and opening his eyes one more time, staring Harry down.
“You and I both know that you didn’t get this hurt from falling down some stairs.”
or, Louis is a doctor. Harry is his patient.

Summary
Zayn is just your average guy, if you discount his shadowy past and the fact that he can read minds. It's not his fault that the friends he's gathered over the years are adamant about saving the world. All he's doing is trying to survive, but it's not easy when things seem to be against him at every turn. He's not a hero. None of them are, and he's not going to change his mind about it. It's just hard when the world seems determined to prove him wrong.
Throw in a power-hungry super villain, a slew of well-intentioned disasters, an ensemble of willing and gifted friends, and a heaping spoonful of idiotic self-sacrifice, and you might just have yourself an origin story.

Summary
He looked at his phone; there on the home screen was a picture someone snapped of him and Harry. Harry was laughing with his mouth wide open and eyes closed. Louis was looking at him with a breathless kind of smile on his face. Now, Louis noted that his smile wasn’t one of someone who was laughing, it was more content looking. Like he could stay like that with Harry for the rest of his life. He could stay that way forever and be perfectly fine with it.
So, yeah, Louis guesses he is a little bit in love with Harry.
Louis and Harry are bestfriends, and one day Harry goes joging and ends up missing. He escapes a year later, though he isnt the same on the inside and outside, but mostly inside.
Alternatively: Everything happens because Harry thinks it's a good idea to go jogging.
