Now all he wants is to get back to New York and to stop running into these random masked vigilantes and ridiculously rich people, but it just seems like none of them will take 'no' as an answer.

Summary
Peter is choking. That is the first thing he realizes as he is regaining consciousness. He tries to cough, to blink awake, but all he sees is green and all he feels is… green. It’s everywhere. It sits in the stomach, his throat, even in his veins. He is nothing but green.

Peter Parker has a problem. His solution? Ask Dr. Strange to send him to another universe. One where he can forge meaningful bonds. In a place that needs Spider-Man more than New York does.

Summary
At this point in the marvel cinematic universe, the multiverse is a well known and accepted fact. So who is to say there isn’t a universe where Spider-Man doesn’t exist in Marvel but in DC instead? This is not a character study, it is the life of a Peter Parker who grew up in Gotham instead of Queens.
Fair warning, this story gets quite dark at times so if you cannot handle the darkness of Gotham, this probably is not a story meant for you. And, while it is being inspired by DefinitelyNotIndecisive's work, this will be vastly different from their version of a young Peter Parker in Gotham.

Before he died, Dr. Octopus turned on a machine that teleported Spider-Man’s broken body to a place that smelled foreign to his weakened senses. 'I didn’t even get the comfort to die someplace I know' he thought as he took his last breath.

Peter didn't plan any of this. He didn't plan to fall into the arc reactor holding a mysterious, glowing metal ball he grabbed off an alien. He didn't plan to wake up screaming and in pain outside of a strange city. He didn't plan to go to Gotham, New Jersey.
He might not have planned it, but he's here now. Now Peter needs to find a way home with no ID, no money, and seemingly no way to contact Doctor Strange or anyone else back home for help. But perhaps the wheelchair-bound librarian, a dangerous man with probable ties to crime, and a young genius can help him figure out how to get home.
That is if Spider-man can get on the good side of the local Bats.

Summary
Peter Parker, like any 14 year old superhero mutant, really wants to catch a break. And yet somehow, he never gets one. He's just a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, nothing special, so what gives?
Well, that's only if you don't look at his biology ever since the radioactive spider bite. Or his extensive track record of running away from his guardians and that he was homeless for a bit. Or the amount of people in his life that have died because he's some kind of bad luck charm. Or that his foster-dad is Tony Stark now.
Or the fact that he was randomly kidnapped one morning on his way to school, and now he's in an alternate universe with a bunch of strange vigilantes that keep stalking him.
He thinks they mean well, but they're really weird. Besides that Red Hood guy. He's pretty cool. Though something about them- especially Nightwing- is familiar, that's not important. He has enough on his plate right now, considering there are multiple people trying to upend the fabric of time and space. He can figure out the other details later.

Peter's lost everything. His aunt, MJ, Ned, his home, and now he doesn't even have a roof over his head. Life is crashing down on him and, God, its so cold.

Blood keeps running in and along his suit, and he wonders as he moves if he needs to wash it. Maybe he can go to the laundromat at like, 3 am. People aren't watching other people's laundry that late at night, they usually just wanna go home.
Eh, either way, he's got some stuff he needs to take care of. Maybe he wasn't lying to Robin after all.
Peter's body is trembling as he swings, the air around him feeling like it's cooling down rapidly. His muscles keep burning, his hands tense around his webs. The lids of his eyes are heavy. Exhaustion similar to the type he felt the night before is sinking into his bones alongside the hunger and loneliness.
He only realizes he's falling when it's already too late.

Peter Parker woke up burning and mournful and angry surrounded by a sky the color of concrete and buildings that towered over his bruised body. A damp pamphlet laid in front of him. "Welcome to Gotham"

This is my first fic and I have like no writing experience. I'm using my phone so the formatting might be weird but I really hope it isn't.
