"My husband?" Lucifer asks hopefully, not really thinking through the ramifications of being wrong. He's never been great at filtering his thoughts before they spill out of his mouth.
A faint blush tinges the other demon's cheeks as his brows furrow. He seems frozen, but there's still a smile, so Lucifer must have come to the right conclusion!

Something about running out of power on the other side of a wormhole, with the threat of slowly suffocating to death in the cold emptiness of space hasn't left him to hold himself together all that well. Fury's plan? To get him and Steve out on a mission together and have Steve pry the truth out of Tony. Only the mission doesn't quite go as planned and things get spicy.
Forget being friends--can Steve and Tony even remain colleagues when all is said and done, or will this put an end to an Avengers Level Friendship before it's even ignited its thrusters?

“I thought you were going for dinner?” Seb asks, as Anthony tosses his jacket over the arm of the couch.
“Been,” Mackie replies, making his way over to the minifridge.
Sebastian blinks as he takes two beers out of the pack, deposits the rest in the fridge. “What about drinks?” Anthony raises the two bottles, grins. “No, no, I mean, I thought you were staying out for drinks?” Sebastian clarifies.
Mackie shrugs. “Didn’t feel like it.”
Under any other circumstances Sebastian would be thrilled that Anthony has chosen to have low-key hotel-room drinks with him over going to a nice bar with their colleagues. But right now, Sebastian needs Anthony out. So he can take the plug out. Or maybe not take it out so much as fuck it in and out, do what he intended with it, get himself off.
But Anthony is flopping down on the couch, toeing off his shoes, making himself comfortable.
