The pain of listening to it was almost comparable to your physical wounds, which burned as they absorbed the saltwater. You squeezed your eyes shut and submerged your ears in an attempt to drown everything out.
Soon, you felt footsteps approaching before they stopped right by your side. A pair of shaking hands reached out and flipped you over. “[Reader]!? [Reader], hey!” Illuga sobbed.
You pried your eyes open when you felt him shake you. The first thing you saw were the tears streaming down his cheeks.
