Summary
A wrist was pressed against his mouth. “Drink,” Technoblade said into his ear, and any lingering hope that he might just kill him here or better yet just let him die from his injuries instead of dragging him back to their sire withered away. Tommy kept his mouth shut. “Drink, now, or you’re going to die.”
Scorned fledglings either had a sympathetic adult vampire take them on as a substitute sire or died. The first was not an option for Tommy. Everyone knew the moment he managed to wiggle out of the cruel grip of his own sire that helping him was a death sentence. In fact, coming face to face with any vampire meant getting dragged back to those who'd laid claim to his blood. Few wanted to go against the Sleepy Coven; all wanted to gain favor with them. His fate was to die on the street at best. At worst... well, that's why he’d ran.
Yet, he ended up blessed by circumstance (for once) with a third option curtesy of his best friend Tubbo whose hands were stained with magic and who was willing to do what was necessary to keep him alive, bloodsucker or not.
(I adore all of the Dark SBI vampire fics, but I'm also a wimp, so I want it to all be a horrible misunderstanding and for them to all hug at the end.)

The angry mer pup stuck in the infirmary that wouldn’t eat. It’s all Techno seemed to hear about these days, the facility and its human inhabitants seemingly growing more vexed for every day that passed without the pup eating.
Techno didn’t understand the fuss. If the pup wouldn’t eat, and wouldn't bond to any of the adult mers housed in the facility, it would die. That's just nature.
“One sardine, Techno, that’s all I ask.” Philza begged.
Damn his Pod for taking the dying pup as a challenge.

(Yes the title is from sofia the first, yes I'm laughing at it, I find it funny-)
In which Phil has created the Antarctic Empire from the ground up and takes in Techno and Wilbur along the way, and raises them while also ruling his kingdom. Tommy, sixteen, lives with Tubbo in an orphanage, the two of them running around in the cold streets of their town.
After a hectic day of getting separated from Tubbo, getting into a few fights, and ending up in an entirely new town, he comes across Phil, and saves him from an assassination attempt by smashing a plate over someone's head.
So then both Techno and Wilbur decide to see who this kid is, and Tommy sure is endearing, in the way that the first time they spy on him, he starts a fight in an alleyway over a bag of cookies.
(and then Tommy basically gets kidnapped into the royal family, but like, legally, y’know?)

Summary
Technoblade has always had wings, ever since they grew when he was a toddler. Most of the foster homes he's been part of struggle to really care for him and all of his hybrid needs. Not their fault, not really. But a few years ago, he was placed with a family of avians that took him (literally) under their wing and, just last year, adopted him for good.
He's happy and looking forward to being part of this family.
However, a special day sneaks up on him, bringing back old feelings that rival with a new want.

He got by easily enough, and knew how to fend for himself in probably the worst place to be homeless, so there wasn’t really any issues.
Technoblade was never supposed to be important. He was supposed to die a nobody.
Until he woke up one day with wings.
Wings that only the Royal Family would have.

Every god has chosen someone to be their angel. The god of Time, Chaos, even Death. They have all chosen their angel to represent them on earth, to protect the mortal plane. People who already had power in the realm- people of royalty.
The only one who has never chosen an angel is the God of Blood. They never have. It was speculated that they were evil- that they hated angels and wanted to kill the gods and everyone else.
Until he saw a homeless Technoblade and pulled a Philza.

In his dreams, there had always been a voice. A soft melodic voice that sang their mother's lullaby. A more monotonous, but just as loving voice that promised he'd teach him to fight one day, once he was old enough of course. The doting voice of a mother laughs with a toddler as she gently tries to fix a small crown onto the boy's brow. And then there was the gentle voice of a father, that promised to always keep him safe from those who'd do them harm.
And in the morning when the boy would awake, he'd wonder who exactly he needed to be protected from.
"Tommy?" A voice called out from the doorway and Tommy grinned gleefully at the sight of his older brother.
"Dream!" He yelled, stumbling out of bed and into his arms, hugging the man tight. His brother returned the hug in kind, his hands pressing warmly into the spot on his back where his wings would ignite from for the first time in a few days, fully grown.
Surely Dream was all the protection Tommy would ever need in this world, right?
A knot of doubt coiled tightly in his chest.

He’d asked Emmy a little more about imaginary friends today. She didn’t really know why Tommy didn’t just show up when Techno thought about him, but Techno chalked it up to Tommy being built different.
“TOMMY!” Techno shouts when he walks into the house. Tommy appears from the hallway, grinning ear to ear when he spots Techno.
“TECHNO!”
It’s quite nice that Tommy likes Techno as much as Techno likes him. Imagine he had an imaginary friend that didn’t like him. That would probably suck.
