In the land (or on the server) of Nod, the Book dictates how all Stories go, and everyone has their part to play. From the brave Knight-Champion Sir Impulse Esvey to the dastardly Evil Sorcerer Saran'diel'ramatiz'nyall, each player knows their part and they perform as necessary.
Only Saran'diel'ramatiz'nyall- Skizz, if you're Impulse- is getting tired of watching his closest companion forced into pointless, dangerous battles.
He's also sort of sick of getting thrown out of tower windows.
So maybe- just maybe!- it's time to write a different story.

A well-designed game rewarded knowledge. Knowing more about the map, your opponents, and even your fellow players should lead to better outcomes over time.
A well-designed game, at least in Tango's opinion, was successful when it brought people together and made them happy.

There might also be some cameos from other MCYTs here and there just for fun and cause I don't have a life. Head the tags. "Dude, you've never heard of Stream Labs?"
It was supposed to be a simple question asked by a couple of friends of his, the Dream Team actually.
And from there, well, things escalated beyond his imaginations.
Wilbur was a normal musician and streamer, until his friends pull him into a small but growing fandom of a sort of ARG RP streamer under the team name of Stream Labs. A fantastic mystery and story involving science, magic and more. It grows as the actor behind teen genius scientist Dr. Tubbo, carefully and meticulously unveils it with splendid ease. The thought and effort in the story was amazing and captivating, Wilbur was easily pulled in.
But as the streams go by, Wilbur and everyone else slowly start to realize that there's more to these streams then meets the eye.
Tommy just wanted to live peacefully with his best friend after waking up, maybe with the weird prince and the new friends he made online. He never fucking expected everything else- why the fuck were he and Tubbo famous in another world? The fuck was 'Clingy Duo' anyway?
The walls of reality are crumbling down around them but they're too busy with each other to notice.

Summary
Wilbur Soot's life sucks. He's a broke indie artist, has no friends, and he's a Zero. In a world full of people with powers, he's literally a joke. His life hits an all-time low when he accidentally grabs a bag with a disc called Mellohi in it instead of his crappy sheet music. Now there's this masked guy interrogating him for information about the Empire when Wilbur hasn't heard of the Angel of Death or the Blood God in his life (and trust him, he would remember if he did). Worse, he thinks that Wilbur's real name is Tommy. Who in the hell is Tommy?
(Somewhere else, Phil and Technoblade plan a rescue mission against the most dangerous rival gang in the world. Dream's a dangerous man, but they would do anything for Family.)
(Meanwhile, Tommy reads crappy sheet music instead of delivering a Very Important Disc to his best friend.)
Or: Wilbur is powerless in a world full of powerful people, and he just has happened to attract the attention of the strongest around.
