Steve hadn’t even known there was anyone left in the hall. He scanned the auditorium until he saw him, the eldest of the class, James Barnes. He was a veteran who came back to his old home town to learn something. NYU had taken him in on scholarship so he had to be smart. Steve only knew his story because he’d never had someone older than him in his class. Granted, James only had one year on him, but Steve still sweated a little more in his presence. He pushed up the nose of his gold wire glasses and straightened the striped tie that disappeared under his sweater.

Bucky Barnes has a good life as a world famous musician. He built it carefully, knows exactly what it cost, and gives himself credit for that. Then he tears a ligament at a concert, the kind of concert where ninety thousand people know every word, and ends up in the care of a doctor who has absolutely no feelings about who he is. The timing is terrible. Bucky has a marathon in ten weeks. He has been training for two years. He is not skipping it.
TLDR: inspired by harry styles quietly training for and running for marathons while being one of the most famous people on earth. The idea of the privacy and the discipline of it wouldn't let me go. Also, I loved that article of him for runner's world when he was interviewed by Murakami. I’ve never been a Harry fan before, I am now.

Remus and Sirius are only too aware of what the bartender thinks. And they’re going to use it to their advantage, as much as they possibly can. If they can make some money, and have a little fun doing so, then they absolutely will.

Not wrong. Just…not the full picture. They'd had so little time together, and still, Harry had deluded himself into thinking he knew Sirius.

This is written like a script in the style of shows like The Office or Parks and Recreation, so expect cutaways and lots of dialogue. It's a silly fic with some earnest moments. Rated Teen and Up for innuendo and (censored) swearing.
