Ranboo stutters, “W-what?” They holds Pearl closer.
“Why the fuck are you so tall? The fuck are your parents feeding you?” The teen asked. Ranboo felt uncomfortable and just walked away thanking the boy. “And why the fuck you’re wearing sunglasses inside!?”

Ranboo sat on the windowsill in fear, and he realized he didn’t have a choice other than to jump if he wanted to make it out alive. Blocking out the screams of his family as the flames charred their skin and they fell into the sleep of death. Ranboo hit the ground with a thud and a cry. He lay there in the wet grass of the front lawn, watching as his room exploded out in flames, the glass shattering and creating a rain of the sharp material.

He scoffed. It took him getting a rusted knife to the face for CPS to so much as glance at him before all of this foster nonsense. It took even longer for them to finally realize he was alone, none of his relatives fit or willing to take him in, and slide him right on into the system. They didn’t have the best interest of shit. Still, he kept his thoughts to himself as she carried on talking. The light had turned green, anyways.

Summary
Ranboo witnesses a gruesome murder one day on his way home but by the time the police arrive, his brain’s built walls around the memory. “Dissociative amnesia” as his new therapist calls it. With no memory of the murder, Ranboo isn’t much help to the police looking for the serial killer now with ten victims. Everything is fine (aside from Ranboo’s constant panic attacks and paranoia) until he gets a letter in the mail from the killer, proving he knows where he lives. The killer plays a game of psychological cat and mouse with Ranboo and the police have to speed up the process of finding him before Ranboo recovers the memories or the killer gets bored of the games.

Dream and “Eight” are a serial killing duo who accidentally let someone witness their tenth murder. They spare Ranboo’s life to psychologically torture him and are delighted to find out that Ranboo’s completely forgotten the entire murder, including their identities. “Eight”s relationship with Dream isn’t as innocent as it seems, and neither are Dream’s intentions. Who is Eight? And why keep the boy alive?

They made eye contact for several seconds (if you count looking at two dots on a mask as eye contact), with Blade’s mouth open slightly in shock. Ranboo tried to stop himself from crying, but from the way his vision began to blur he could tell he wasn’t winning that fight. The silence surrounding them both was deafening, and Ranboo hated it more than anything.

Summary
Ranboo clawed at Dream’s hand, the green god’s expression sullen and dark, despite the well-painted, lamented, wavering grin spread unevenly across his face, the teen gasping for air sharply. It was practically as if Dream was struggling to keep the thin smirk on his face intact. He could feel his fingers go numb, as if he suspended him in time, the tips of his hands feeling bitter and cold.
The smiling god’s eyes were glassy, unusually polished under the moonlight, his startlingly vivid green eyes penetrative, hard, and lost. Hunting for a pleading answer naively, a resolve Ranboo knew no one possessed.
“You took—“ Dream’s voice was hoarse, angry, on the verge of breaking down. “You took everything from me.”
“I know.” The words came choked out, in scarcely a breath of a whisper, black spots ebbing in and out of his view as the numbness infected his limbs. “I’m sorry.”
