“Mmm, okay, I am a woman of my word and I have work to do today, so I can’t, no…” She licked her lips, eyes looking down as she tried to retie Maya’s robe.
But the Italian knew she was doomed the moment she looked up again.
The second her eyes met Maya’s, she felt a jolt of electricity course through her spine. Her ocean blue eyes were almost completely dark by lust, by desire, her arm was up again, resting against the doorframe, her face cocked just a little bit to the side as if challenging her but what finally made her crumble was the slow, sensual lick the blonde gave to her bottom lip.
The brunette beamed. “I only have ten minutes.” She lifted her right hand to grab Maya’s robe and started pulling it down her shoulder.
The Italian then started to make Maya walk backwards towards the bed, her lips hovering above the other woman’s but not touching them yet. They both giggled, giddy by what was about to happen.

When she moved out and became a firefighter, she had to stay alert for calls during the night so even when she was off shift, she would wake up for the quietest of sounds. During her relationship with Carina it had gotten a little better, she felt truly rested after waking up between Carina’s arms or with hers around the brunette but she still woke up once or twice every now and then. But that had changed since Carina had gotten pregnant.

She lifted the comforter and carefully slid beneath the warm material, using one arm as a pillow and placing the other across the little brunette’s body, scooting closer until her forehead almost touched her wife’s, trapping the child between his mothers.
The boy stirred a little, which made Maya hold her breath, but he only moved his arm to be on top of the blonde’s. She sighed when he didn’t open his eyes and started drawing patterns on his belly over the comforter to sooth him back to deep sleep. Her eyes shifted between the boy and the woman beside her, taking in how beautiful she was, observing the soft lips, her cute nose, her defined eyebrows, her brown locks contained in a messy bun, the muscles of her neck and the creamy skin of her chest not covered by her green shirt.
“I feel you staring, bambina.”

Just as she was exiting the room, she could hear everyone starting talking about Pru, asking Miller how she was, saying how big she’s getting, how cute she is, etc., and Maya could not be happier to be going away. Don’t get her wrong, she loved Pru. Hell, she was the first person to ever hold her in her hands as she was born but the Olympian felt like the baby talk was chasing her, everywhere she went someone brought the topic up, and it was like she couldn’t outrun it. It was getting frustrating. Yes, she had agreed to think about it some more but she needed more time.
The lieutenant halfway down the stairs when she noticed something in front of the reception desk.
A black duffle bag.
And a mysterious duffle bag left at the station could either mean a bomb or…

“I’m so glad to be part of this family.” Carina whispered, still so close to Maya that the blonde felt her warm breath against her skin.
The firefighter didn’t lose time to get her hands on her wife’s hips. “Not more than me.” She replied, her lips curving into a grin as she brushed the tip of her nose against Carina’s.
Without thinking, Maya’s gaze drifted from Carina’s eyes to her lips and then lower, to the small space between their breasts. She bit her lower lip when she noticed, again, the faint outline of the dusky peaks on the doctor’s burnt orange shirt. The warm feeling in the pit of her stomach by the sweet moment they were sharing turned into a burning heat at the thought of Carina’s body.
When Maya’s blue eyes met Carina’s brown ones again, she noticed a hint of lust in them which, paired with the Italian’s smirk, let the blonde know that her wife was thinking the same thing she was.
