Summary
Apprentice witch Olruggio is separated from his master and falls into a mysterious silverwood forest full of strange magic. At first, he's pretty nervous, since there's good reason to believe there are Brimhats in the forest, but then a talking bird gives him a set of keys that unlock magical rooms in the silverwood trees.
Olruggio takes shelter inside the trees, with the bird as his only companion, while he waits for his master to find and rescue him. He can't help wondering what's going on with the bird and the silverwood trees, though. Wait, wasn't that tree in a different spot this morning?
A retelling of the Grimm fairy tale "The Old Woman in the Forest."

Summary
Once upon a time, there was an AO3 writer who loved exploring fairy tales...
This is a collection of my (mostly newer) fairy tale fanfics, which are written for a variety of fandoms and retell a variety of lesser-known fairy tales from around the world. Most of them aren't too long and are either one-shots or broken into a handful of chapters.
Now, for those of you who don't know, fairy tales are dangerous. They can become rather dark, particularly when retold with fictional characters you know and love. Many of these stories will involve violence, blood, and forcible transformations, among other serious subjects. Check the tags and chapter summaries of individual fics for specific content warnings, and take care of yourself if you need to.
That said, these stories will end happily ever after, even if sometimes the characters will have to endure a lot to get there. Don't be afraid. Take my hand, and join me and many colorful characters in the wonderful world of fairy tales...

In autumn 2023, I wanted to get cozy and warm in the cooling weather, and I found myself craving cozy, fluffy, cuddly fanfics! Some of these are cutesier or softer than others, but all of them involve sweet fluff and cuddles with the majority of my favorite Fire Emblem ships.
And yes, the title comes from "Seasons of Love" in Rent, in case you were wondering.

Once she is closer and by Coco's side instead of her back, she can see that Coco is staring intently at her hands, with the cloth that she has been working with pooling on her lap and the various tools from the open sewing kit scattered around her – can see that there is blood on Coco's hand.
Or, when Coco accidentally hurts herself while working on her winged cloaks late in the night, Agott cannot allow herself to overlook the incident. Late night conversations ensue.

When he wasn't plagued by vivid, violent nightmares that left him thrashing and screaming, he had abstract, formless ones that left behind an awkward sense of discomfort as he woke.
But lying half buried under his sleeping friends, he thinks that this must be the warmest he has ever felt.
Or, the morning after a sleepover, featuring Qifrey as a pillow, and Alaira and Olruggio as weighted blankets.
