Summary
It started with a video.
Shane opens up in an interview, and suddenly he’s everywhere—talk shows, viral clips, even fucking headlines that have nothing to do with hockey. The whole world has fell deeply in love with his husband.
Ilya is proud. He really is.
But pride doesn’t stop the comments. Or the flirting. Or even the way the arena cheers just a little louder when Shane’s face hits the jumbotron. It wasn't jealousy that his husband was keeping more fame, but it was from the way everyone desired him for themselves and the fact that Shane didn't see any actual problem with it.
Ilya has never been good at sharing.
And for the first time in a long time, it’s starting to show.
