The ruins of the city rose up from the ground like shattered teeth, jagged and splintered, biting into the sky with a stark, alien viciousness. A graveyard disturbed, mired fields of churned up earth and chunks of stony rubble. Craters blasted into the pavement, splinters of broken glass glinting between piles of debris like tiny bastard stars– No stone uncracked, no building untouched.
Smokey remnants drifted long between the dimming clouds, thick ribbons of lethargic, billowing ash all black and gunmetal gray, exhaling from toppled buildings like a sigh. Or final breath. It settled over the city’s carcass like a shroud. Like the fog that lingers over the road in the early morning. And everywhere, fires simmered dim and glistening– like clumps of hot coals in a bonfire. Banked, it seemed, from several days of burning, their rage already depleted.
Whatever had happened that night, Amity Park had not gone quietly.

unfinished, 12 ch, long, and vivid, masterfully woven, a horror through and through, and a delight to read, waller has leveled amity, and turned the fraid to halfas, the ancients got together to train them for escape, over FIVE YEARS, jazz with a shadow core, trapped beneath arkham, and slowly getting close with rh though her living shadow, tucker with an energy core, finding Valerie and making plans, dropping info to oracle, and accidently wiping out the eastern sea board, and Sam, who possessed ivy, and used ivys powers to escape, don't know what's up with Danny, there's a shambling monstrosity just outside of the remains of amity killing people, and ellie has been in a coma for the past two years, it's dark, and gruesome, and bloody, tearful and violent, and it draws you in, so so vivid, and well written

Now she's hiding out in Gotham with her de-aged brother and no clear path forward. She bears his responsibilities, his safety, his childhood. She will protect it all, no matter the cost.
Jason didnt think his life could get any weirder. Boy is he wrong.

unfinished, 26 ch, the batboys (core 4) and Bruce are sucked into Jason's memories, his fucked up childhood, things are heartwrenching, and almost none of it is in Jason's poverty which just makes this worse/better, reconciling little Jason's hurt with big Jason's actions, and how they all try to help, and make it worse, dick is.... so lost and he's trying but it's hurting Jason, and the worst is yet to come, Bruce knows that, he's trying, but he's just... hes a wall, Tim has suspicions (bad parent drakes??, and the batarang incident), and dami is just.... he's just a kid. he doesn't know what's going on, and his background makes his pov all the more hurting. this work is gorgeous, and so well-woven, and rich, and it hurts, but its cathartic almost, so good, too too good

Kon-el's entry into the Royal Family is an upset. He changes the hierarchy and whispers that he could assassination the Crown Prince Jon roam the castle halls.
Kon's also 13 and desperately trying to find his place in the viperous world of the royal court. He's hoping that training a taur, a wild and whipsmart colt from the Drake stables, will be just the thing to show everyone he's someone to be taken seriously.
But taurs are not easy creatures to handle. They are strong and smart and not willing to be led by the weak-willed. His father Kal-El might have the strongest bond in the kingdom with his taur, Bruce, but that's no guarantee Kon will too.

Bruce doesn’t know what’s wrong with his child, but he’s pretty sure kids aren’t meant to work like this.
From the day he had looked up into the tops of the circus tent and saw a frightened mirror image of a boy who had just experienced the worst day of his life, Bruce had instantly gone into emergency mode.
The Gotham PD had wanted to pass the boy off into the care of the circus. The circus had mumbled underneath their breaths about superstitions, about not having a boy like that with them, about not being able to handle something like Dick. So GCPD, not knowing what to do, had started talking about one of the handful of overburdened boy homes that handles a majority of Gotham’s unlucky orphans.
All the while, the camera lights flash bright and loud, wanting to know everything.
Bruce couldn’t let that happen.
Not then, not ever again.

Arguments were not uncommon in the Wayne Manor. Neither was the occasional radio silence from one of Bruce's kids. But this...this was different. They always came back, always called. But Damian was nowhere to be seen, nowhere to be found. Not to mention, he'd cleaned out his entire bedroom.
Whether he'd intended to or not, Bruce had driven a deeper wedge between he and his son than before. And now, he'll do anything he can to fix it. Even if it means treating Hal Jordan, the one person in the world Damian seems to respect, with some form of dignity.

In a world where Hal and Bruce got over their petty in-fighting and actually took the leap from enemies to lovers, they celebrate the two-year anniversary of their marriage until something goes horribly wrong and Hal is sent to another world where it wasn't the Green Lantern that seduced the bat, but Superman.
Between not being in the position anymore to knock sense into his (not)husband, grappling with his own rampant insecurities, and snooping around the life of his alternate self there was a lot on his plate that pissed him off; luckily even here he was still the favourite parent and his kids are still not all that complicated (even if Clark might say otherwise).

3. Build-up: The victim is given an opportunity to profit from participating in a scheme. The victim's greed is encouraged, such that their rational judgment of the situation might be impaired.
4. Pay-off or convincer: The victim receives a small payout as a demonstration of the scheme's purported effectiveness. This may be a real amount of money or faked in some way. In a gambling con, the victim is allowed to win several small bets. In a stock market con, the victim is given fake dividends.
5. The “Hurrah”: A sudden manufactured crisis or change of events forces the victim to act or make a decision immediately. This is the point at which the con succeeds or fails.

unfinished, 30ch, Peter in Gotham, with the soul stone keeping his dead friends in his head, slightly Lazarus, and more spidery than before, slowly but surely befriending all the bat's in and out of costume accidentally, and killing this homeless thing, bats just found out about the newest vigilante and isn't happy, lots of fun hc and new lore, unreliable narrators abound, heavy, but silly and fun, well-woven (lol), very detailed, excited to see where this goes, especially since these last 30 ch feel like an intro in the best of ways
