Summary
Makoto has always struggled with his mental health. From a young age, he had to block out his parents’ constant arguing and cover his sister's ears. In middle school, he had a very tough time just surviving and making it to the next day. Grades dropping, parents disappointed, barely finding a reason to get out of bed. Makoto almost gave up. Now he’s going to Hope’s Peak Academy as the Ultimate Lucky Student, experiencing the dreams of millions. Makoto must navigate his complicated feelings and learn to ask for help.
Kyoko is an emotionally strong person. She never let things deter her in the name of truth and justice. Even coming to Hope’s Peak and meeting her dad has not deterred her, despite the complicated feelings towards him. After a while of being a student at Hope’s Peak, she notices Makoto’s concerning behavior and decides to investigate the Lucky Student’s past, present, and future in hopes of learning more about him.
Or TL;DR: An AU where Makoto had bad mental health in the past and his journey of healing and loving himself while learning how to open up to his friends and ask for help while a student at Hope’s Peak. Plus Kyoko POV and a lot of Naegiri.

If Scott wasn't already having a problem, this would have started a new one. He was in the middle of important paperwork that just couldn’t wait and now he was being forced to watch out for two vigilantes that did nothing but cause minimal chaos in spite of the hero organization. Having to do what the alert said would just make things worse for him, atlas, he definitely didn't want to have a run in with a vigilante like Slime had a streak of robbing banks and other shops. Scott didn't want to be next.

my camp halfblood au YIPPIE!!! except its called Camp Hermit in this. but its basically the same thing. anyway yeah i LOVE this project and it was so fun to write!! the mainfic is still the longest thing ive written (as of writing this, which Might change depending lol) and even though its finished, there were so many characters i still wanted to write in the universe so ive made this a series and am doing some oneshots!! oneshots are in chronological order, and if you've read the mainfic, it should be relatively easy to understand the timeline for every one lol
