This was understood amongst the Hermits. It was a thing. Just as Joel hated horses and Mumbo hated sitting still, Etho would shrink away from physical contact and stand on the outskirts of social situations. The Hermits understood that you didn’t touch Etho.
However, something being understood was very different to something being practised.

Now, she must work through Genji's violence, McCree's crush, the crumbling of her beloved organization, and her own feelings for the cowboy and the sparrow.
It's a Gency-centric work with a small amount of McMercy thrown in for good measure. Part One of my Overwatch Series, focusing mostly on the Pre-fall lore.

Nightmare gives him the option to get out of his abandoned, empty world. He accepts the offer but refuses to destroy anything or hurt people. Instead he finds another purpose. In return the Bad Sanses give him a home, companions, a life, and a name. They call him Ink.
Or: Before he can destroy his soul and enter the Doodle Sphere, Ink is recruited by Nightmare. He accepts his role as best he can, even if he sometimes feels like he is meant for something more.

He wanted desperately to go home and hug Papi. He wanted to make his world-renowned tacos and enjoy a real meal that didn’t just taste of greasy sauces or Styrofoam. He wanted to see Alphys again and show her how much he had improved and beg to finally be accepted into the royal guard.
But he knew he couldn’t.
If he went back there as he was now, Dream would immediately pick up on his distinctive brand of positivity. He always did when Blue tried to sneak away for a couple of days after a fight with Ink. And then he would be dragged back and the cycle would continue.
But maybe…
Well, maybe, if the King of Negativity was just as cruel to his henchmen as Ink and Dream always said, there was a way for Blue to ruin himself enough that there would be no positivity left in him for Dream to track. And then, finally, he could go back to his AU.
Mind set on that half-arsed plan, he met Error’s eyes once more, this time with true determination shining through his faint eye lights, and said: “I want to go to Nightmare”.

While the team is faced with the challenge of restoring Cassidy back to his adult self, the child is faced with his own issue: finding his mom, whom he believes is injured and in need of his help.

Summary
A story starting with the overwatch recall, The effect it had on Genji and Zenyatta, The people i reunited and the bonds it helped strengthen.
Genji feels how his whole body clams up at the familiarity of that voice. How air suddenly feels optional as Hanzo stands in the doorway, not looking much different from how he did just 5 months ago when he saw him in Japan. Yet also looking completely different at the same time. Gone are the traditional clothes and no dragon tattoo is proudly on display. Instead, he stands in what can best be described as streetwear. Cole for his part looks like a deer in headlights as he looks at Hanzo.
Fucking Hanzo, and holy shit why is Hanzo here? Why does Hanzo know Cole? Genji has so many questions, yet ‘uuuuh’ noise that Cole is making feels like it also sums up Genji’s own feelings.

“Is quite alright, Kain '' Crepus interrupted, holding up a hand to silence the rambling boy. A smile played on his lips. “Am fine, did you see what it was?”.
The two men were walking to the front, up to the horses to look at the damage.
The horses that had slipped were standing up again. Looking a little distressed but alright.
“Will I didn’t get a good look, Master Ragnvindr,” Kain frowned, looking around the area. “But it looked like a person. Not very big, possibly a child but what on earth is a kid doing in a storm like this?”.
Or
Kaeya and Diluc growing up. Angst and comfort with an alternate plot. The first part is them being children. (There is going to be a second part with them as teens, as the plot thickens…. ).
ON HIATUS - I'm planning on coming back to this story and even re-writing some parts, but I need my focus to be on some other stories, so when I do plan on working on this again, it will have my full focus. :)
