“Oh, my boy. My sweet boy,” Amélie whispered, her shaky voice cutting through the quiet of the embassy. She moved across the marble floor in quick steps and stopped in front of him. He was much taller now — she barely reached his shoulder — but she paid it no mind. She dropped the briefcase to cup his face. He leaned into the touch.
“Maman…” There was a layer of static in his voice, but it was unmistakable. That accent, that intonation — it was Alastor. After a century apart, she was finally reunited with her son.
Or, Alastor's mother finds a way to visit her son in Hell, finds out he's been dating the Devil (who's very much pregnant), and has a lot of revelations about things she once thought she knew.

His mère would be looking for him. Would be worried sick.
“Um…” Charlie’s eyes darted to the others.
Angel sighed heavily. “Ya can’t go home, kid. It ain’t 1923 anymore.”
Alastor frowned.
“It’s 2024.”
Somehow that was harder to accept than the fact he was in Hell.
AKA
What if Alastor’s fight with Adam ended…differently? What if he was “purified” instead to the last moment he could have been redeemed? And, unfortunately for him, that was when he was only eleven.
