First and foremost, there are NOT enough McFarland USA fans, it is actually the best movie ever, so of course I needed to fix that
For anyone who doesn’t know the story is set in Southern California so all the kids are Hispanic, my Spanish is not great, but I’m trying my best, a few things will be in Spanish
Second of all, This story is set during the movie, there is a bit of angst and injury, also mentions of blood and suicide, but very brief

Furrowing her brow, Taylor gives her brother a once over. Pale face, slightly red nose, the beginnings of dark circles under his eyes.
Definitely sick.
"Whatever you say. Just don't- don't cough on me or whatever."
Turning to leave, Taylor lets out a frustrated huff. She definitely can't go out with her friends now. Not that she's completely opposed to the idea but her mom would probably consider it the pinnacle of irresponsibility or something and ground her forever.
And maybe she's a little worried about Oliver. Maybe.
