With rocks he had pocketed them idly and sold them to docks. To impress Tubbo he had flourished dull stones and cracked them open on the side of tables to reveal blood red rubies and gems.
His friend had gotten quite used to his antics over the years. The party trick getting old long before they arrived on the ship called the ‘Sleepy Bois’]---------
Tommy had always joked about getting rich but what his crew don't know is he could achieve that anytime quite easily. After joining their ship he discovered family, friends and a good night singing his heart out was all he needed to be happy.
It was the SBI's turn to learn the value Tommy brought to the table though. Sometimes even when all your belongings were stripped away you had to turn to your family, forgive your losses and trust you could make it out together.Series

“Sixteen.”OR: Murderbot AU. No, you don't need to have read the series to understand. In which Techno is Murderbot, AKA a security construct who hacked his governor module and just wants to play Minecraft but will nonetheless protect his human clients (not family, never family).
Phil, Wilbur, and Tommy are said human clients, who come to see him as more than just a security robot.

It was then the Pythia looked down at the hand outstretched between them. The prosthetic was made of intricately carved metal, covered in vines and flowers twisting together with the shimmer of enchantments reflecting in the purple glow.
And although the guard’s sleeve was covering his wrist, he knew that in the place where metal met flesh, there was a pair of dark angel wings tattooed on his skin.
He was right. This wasn’t a real guard.
This was a Deathling.
or, Wilbur is an oracle known as the Pythia, chosen to receive dreams of the future from the goddess Clara. One day, he receives a dream warning him that during a ball Emperor Schlatt is hosting, the Deathlings—terrorists who worship the goddess of Death—will launch an attack. When his warning goes ignored, he knows there's going to be consequences.
He doesn't expect one of those consequences to include him getting kidnapped by a teenager.

And that’s only considering the history of Earth. The Universe at large is millions upon billions upon quintillions of years older than that. Enough time for stars to die, for solar systems to decompose, rot away into nothing but solar dust and crumbling asteroids.
Tommy had never been a fan of outer space.

It was a little boy, definitely no older than five, with filthy brown hair, bright blue eyes, and a body far too petite and skinny for it to be healthy. But what caught Dream’s attention was how familiar he looked, though he was fairly certain he’d never seen this child in his life.
“Hey, it’s alright, I’m not here to hurt you.” He placates. “ I know you didn’t steal it on purpose. You’re not in trouble.”
He goes to take a small step forward, but the moment he does, several small animals- raccoons, armadillos, squirrels, rats- pop out of seemingly nowhere, glaring and hissing at him as if sensing the boy’s distress.
It caught Dream so off guard that he stumbled a bit, eyes wide in wonder. Then it hit him- the boy had an animal affinity- something rarer than his own affinity: potions.
He smiles at the boy and holds one hand up to show he meant no harm, while the other was outstretched and open invitingly. “I won’t hurt you, sweetheart.”
