The room is too bright.
It’s quaint, in a nauseating sort of way. Polished floors glint from the gleaming honeycomb chandeliers overhead, make him squint. A few vases sprinkled here and there, filling the room with a sickeningly sweet scent – even a waffle-cone headrest framing the silken sheets of a neatly-tucked bed. Outside, the golden sun gleams, the gentle rays of light spilling past curtains that waver in the afternoon breeze.
It's meant to be beautiful. Luxurious. Welcoming.
With one sweep of his cane, Shadow Milk tears it apart.

But it turns out, fitting into such a limited space with another person is a bit more tricky.
During the one night Bdubs can't find his bed to skip to the morning, he and Etho find that out the hard way.

“Get out.” Ash growled, but Red stood frozen, staring. He took a step into the room, and Ash raised his sword, trying to hide his wince of pain.
“Are you alright?” Red, who normally kept his tone disinterested, seemed to have a bit of concern hiding in his voice.
“I’m fine.” This time Ash couldn’t hide the pain in his voice. “Fuck off.”
Red decided to do the opposite of that, stepping fully into the room and closing the door. Ash twisted around to watch him, irritated, as he made his way over to him. “What are you doing?”
“Helping.”

It's dark enough in the tunnel for Ash's face (which is definitely its normal, usual shade) to not be visible. He nods quickly. It is also very unfortunate that they are stuck in a single 2-block vertical space together, facing each other. They both lean on opposite walls, but their legs are pressed together. Yeah. Ash is very grateful for the darkness. "Sorry," he whispers.
Red presses a finger to his own lips pointedly.
"Yeah, I know-" Ash balks. He almost said that at normal volume. The digging gets a few blocks closer, then stops again. Listening. Alright, alright. "I can be quiet-"
Red cuts him off with a kiss.

Kaboodle recently got moved to working night shifts at the coffee shop she works at part time. It wasnt a big deal, Kyle really needed someone to pick up the night shifts due to villain activity, and Kab was apparently somehow this man's only option.
She was really prepared for boring shifts, filled with restocking and passing the time fucking around on her phone until her friend's got there to start their opening shifts.
She certainly didn't expect Clownpeirce, the city's most wanted villain, to break into her shop to hide from heros, half bleeding out.
On her very first night shift.
....Kab really needed to stop getting into these kinds of situations.

On impulse, he blurted out, “Do you want to get coffee sometime?”
Quackity stiffened, surprise flashing across his features. Panic suddenly flared in Wilbur’s chest as he realized the implications of what he offered. It was one thing to come over and hang out as friends, and a very different thing to go out for coffee. He had crossed an invisible line in the sand, and not an unimportant one.
While friendship across the hero-villain divide was fine and even encouraged, romantic relationships were far too complicated and could turn bad very quickly. He knew that, and Quackity knew that too. While coffee didn’t have to be romantic, it was far too close for comfort when they had already been drifting on the edge of impropriety for so long.
That’s why he was shocked when Quackity jerkily nodded his head.

Wilbur was a villain, once. Quackity was a hero, once. Now, they’re both just retired single fathers who happen to like each other a little (or a lot). Technoblade shook.
There was a blade at his throat, the pressure of it barely cutting into his neck, and he winced as he felt a bead of blood pool out of it. He followed the blade up to its wielder. He wore a fierce snarl, eye's blazing with hatred, fury, and tears.
Technoblade recognized him now. The man standing over him, whose blade was piercing his throat, was King Philza.
"What," the King growled, his voice barely heard over all the other din, "have you done."
He didn't know. He was so cold.
Or, Queen Kristin is murdered, and Technoblade is found red-handed at the scene of the crime. There remains one problem– he wasn't the one who killed her.(Slow updates)
