Tommy blinked. Gradually, the corners of his mouth dropped into the deepest frown he’d ever made. “What the fuck? Why?”
“Why?” Icarus froze and Tommy raised a judgemental eyebrow. “It’s because of your powers.”
“My powers,” he echoed. “I never told you whether or not I had powers.”
“I can… sense them,” Icarus bullshitted. Tommy pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Right. What are they, then,” he retorted.
“Uh… super… powers,” the villain answered, sounding more unsure of himself by the second.
Tommy wanted to bash his head against a wall. “Really? That’s the best you could do?”

Summary
Techno's eyes travel from Tommy's head to his toes, recognition didn't flit across his face like Tommy had anticipated. Nine years did change a person a great deal. Techno, who had only been fourteen the last time Tommy had seen him, was now a grown man, well muscled, all traces of boyishness gone from his body. Though he was still recognizably Techno. Tommy on the other hand had been six. A runt with bright eyes and a firy personality. Tommy wondered if the years had rendered him too changed for his brother to know him.
Then it happened. Tommy saw the instant Techno put the pieces together. He stood up in a rush, his book falling to the floor in a heap, while his beer sloshed around in its bottle.
"Tommy?"

Tommy winds up at Techno's doorstep after nine years of separation. He'd found him online via article. Apparently Tommy's brother was a semi famous bullrider. Tommy didn't care about that though, he just needed somewhere to stay. A cabin out in the middle of Texas would just have to do.

If they're so convinced he's still dead, maybe the one good thing left he can do for them is die.

Tommy had a plan. He didn't want to live on this earth anymore, didn't want to be here with his borderline abusive brothers and neglectful father. So he wasn't going to.
He never has to listen to his brothers calling him terrible names and hitting him. He doesn't have to go to work tomorrow after school so he can eat food he actually likes, and dream of moving out of his own personal hell one day.

Being stuck and tortured endlessly in prison for 3 (or was it 4?) months did have a toll on a human being. Dream was no exception. But it’s not like there’s anything he could do.
So after trying to revive Wilbur, he expected to see Ghostbur gone.
He didn’t expect to wake up in a different world where the Dream SMP was just roleplay for fans.
And in his place was another Dream who didn’t expect to see his own server come to life.

She rolls her eyes and pats Dave’s shoulder in an attempt to pretend that she feels any sympathy. Tommy glances at her from where he’s resting, stretching lazily and changing place to be more in the sun. Both him and Dave know very well that Niki doesn’t feel any sympathy at all. At least not during working hours. For any real interaction with her they would have to wait until she’s off the clock.
“Why do you say that?” She asks anyway, because a client is a client. Dave groans.
“I keep seein’ a teenager inside my house. I wasn’t seein’ one before you gave me this menace.”
“Delusional.” Niki quickly diagnoses him. Dave scowls. “No. The cat didn’t bring some curse onto you. Maybe Toby broke into your house-“
“That makes it better in your opinion?” He shrieks.
To be fair, Tommy didn’t curse Dave. He just so happened to shapeshift into a human to reach for his leftover pizza. Listen, he was nuked into another dimension, he can have some salami, as a treat.
Or; shapeshifter!Tommy gets yeeted into another dimension after the finale. Found family ensues.

Summary
It’s his instincts and his voices who wake him up, as they are screaming wrong wrong wrong.
He is not alone.
There is a creature in his room. Techno blinks at the figure sitting on top of his blankets, right on the foot of his bed. It is still, and does not move.
“Did you break into my house to get away from the cold?” Techno asks.
The creature says nothing. It only pulls one of the blankets at the end of Techno’s bed closer to itself.
“Well if you’re gonna stay at least take another blanket,” Techno grumbles.
Techno doesn't expect for his hibernation to be interrupted by a strange creature who breaks into his house. He decides to let it stay. Throughout the winter, the creature wakes him up in intermissions until spring. Inviting them to stay turns out to be one of the best decisions he made.
Or, how Technoblade accidently befriends and adopts what he believes to be some sort of demon that visits in his sleep, but is actually just a curious shapeshifting child.

One such Strider, an orphan named Tommy Innit, with his companions, a robot wolf named Slate that helps him navigate the wastes and the robot spider drone Shroud, are given the task of delivering what looks like an ordinary crate. But what he didn't know? Was what lay beneath the unassuming. Now he must team up with a legend of the wastes, The Blood God, to stop others from getting this vital piece of information and disrupting the peace that had fallen on humanity and robot.
