82718 Collected Statements Regarding the Life Series Phenomenon by emtypaintkan, ik_nyarisss, Paulienreads for mayrine

Summary
A collection of recovered statements from players trapped in the repeating worlds of the Life Series. Each account is fragmented, unreliable, and soaked through with fear, affection, and the kind of inevitability that feels scripted long before anyone speaks it aloud.
From the first fractures of Third Life, to the paranoia of Last Life, to the soul‑deep bindings of Double Life, the ticking dread of Limited Life, and the whispered confessions of Secret Life, every tape hints at the same truth: something is watching them. Something remembers. Something wants them to return.
As the Archivist attempts to catalogue the tapes, patterns emerge: alliances that feel prewritten, deaths that echo across seasons, and an entity that nudges emotions like pieces on a board. The deeper the Archivist listens, the clearer it becomes that the ritual isn’t confined to the worlds where the players fell… and the Institute may not be as far outside the cycle as they believe.
Orrrrr
A multi‑statement exploration of the Life Series as an ongoing, hungry phenomenon, told through tapes, transcripts, and the slow unraveling of the person forced to listen.

Summary
Despite discovering space travel decades ago, humanity has yet to venture out of their home planet and properly introduce themselves to the rest of the galaxy. Most aliens don't see any humans in their lifetime unless they go to the Travel Stations and the Stationaries surrounding Earth in the Middle Ring.
Much like aliens don't know much about humans, most humans are blind to anything alien-related.
So, when Hannah ventures out into the Outer Ring it's with nothing except a backpack and a half-baked plan.
She doesn't expect it to actually get her somewhere.

I LOVE REK SO MUCH !!!! his paranoia should be explored more in fics.... like it has so much angst potential. the concept of a character being untrapable (or unkillable or anything along those lines) and everybody else trying to trap them (or kill them or whatever) and it affecting the character's psyche.... ohohohoho i love that
