Arlo watches Rozanov catch the small gesture their boss gives him and grab the black coat off his shoulders, draping it over one arm with his black leather gloved hands. It freaks Arlo out a little, the wordless communication that Boss has with his bodyguard. The way they move like a single being, with Hollander always a step ahead but never more than that step far. Rozanov walks if Boss walks, like there’s an invisible leash latched to some collar that only Hollander can tug at.
It must be so humiliating, he thinks just as Boss climbs the long flare of stairs that lead to the main entrance and Rozanov follows behind him like an obedient dog. He wonders if he burns with the shame of subduing himself like that. Of reducing his entire existence to a single man out of obligation.
Or, italian mafia boss shane hollander and his guard dog through the eyes of an employee. and then through shane's own eyes.

Bruce's thighs clamp down as Clark squeezes him, the fabric of their clothes shifting together as he doesn't let Clark move away for a single moment. Lifting Bruce by his hips, Clark pushes forward again as if he's fucking him.
"Good puppy," Bruce groans, voice light and airy.
They both freeze, almost immediately.
The word seems to echo in the sudden silence, but Clark's mind is entirely blank.
"I—apologize," Bruce says, breathless. "I lost myself for a moment."
"Puppy?" Clark asks, light-headed.
Heat has rushed through him, up and down, and he would have lost his footing if not for how Bruce has gathered himself in Clark's arms just to feel him as they dry humped. His mind keeps replaying it, over and over until the heat nearly burns. Puppy.

This is NOT an easy one to read. It is very heavy and basically shows how you can get trapped in an abusive relationship, from the perspective of the abused person. It's also incredibly good because it is very well-written and believable, but by god you need to be in the right mindset to read it. For me, it was very interesting, especially as somebody who never quite understood how abusive relationships happen as I've never been in one, and this fic illustrates quite well I think how easy it actually is to be manipulated like that. Author used the unreliable narrator perspective really well imo, because it gets you very immersed to the point that you catch yourself making the same excuses for Gerard that Frank makes. If you have your own history with abusive relationships, I would be cautious with reading it as I imagine it could be incredibly triggering as it is quite graphic for most parts. But yes, for me, it was really good and it will certainly stick with me for a while. (As of now it's been half a year since I've read it and I still think about it regularly actually)

“Good. Now look away.”When Geralt comes home from a hunt, he gets stuck in sensory-overload. He hasn’t slept in days, has not taken care of himself and deals with the burning toxicity of Black Blood in his veins. Jaskier has no clue about all of that and does what he usually does. Which is being a bard. A loud bard.
That becomes dangerous very quickly, as Geralt has little to no control over his animal instincts when he’s so overwhelmed.
