I did first-year—all of the politics, death, idiots, dragons—twice. The variable that turned distance into loyalty, logic into want, control into chaos, and survival into a group project nobody asked for. The team effort worked for us last year—but we have two more to go, and I can already see where the equation ends.
I've done the math. Falling for Xaden Riorson will ruin everything—including me. I know better.
