Bucky tapped him on the shoulder, swaying back and forth a little as he waited for the man to turn around. “Hello,” he said, and then promptly forgot what else he was going to say, because this guy was fucking beautiful. “Wow. Good face.”
Two of the guy’s friends, a man wearing a suit that fit so well it had to be bespoke and a man with a cute little gap between his front teeth, started cracking up. The petite redhead sitting next to them cocked her head to the side and pulled her phone out of her handbag. Beautiful Face just looked kind of pained, so Bucky redirected. He was a gentleman. He could take a hint. No hitting on beautiful guys who were uncomfortable with that sort of thing, no matter how lickable their jawlines were.
“Hello,” he repeated, doing his best to mind his manners. “I’m very sorry to bother you. Can I have a piggy-back ride?”

POST Falcon and the Winter Soldier: Bucky finds himself in serious legal trouble. With his future looking grim, he decides to cross off one more of his amends and travel through time to try to save Tony Stark. This is a stand alone sequel to a recent, previous story of mine.
Click the link for the Time Travel series if you want to read the first one. It's not required to understand this story, but I highly recommend it and it'll give background on the time travel device. Part 1 is a fun, angsty story with lots of good Tony, Natasha, Steve, Sam, and Bucky moments. :) (And it's only 38K words).

In Ohio, Bucky stops Yelena from being recruited into more assassinations and takes her to New York to pass on what he has learned. It turns out, they have a lot in common: grieving Steve, grieving Natasha, battling loneliness, hoping for redemption. Maybe it wasn’t so strange that when they finally found comfort, they found it in each other.
“You were someone else before you were an assassin. You were Bucky Barnes, Captain America’s best friend, war hero. I was never anything else. I’m like a matryoshka doll. If you opened up all the layers of me and threw away the parts that the Red Room created, then there’d be nothing left.”

Summary
It's not exactly unprecedented for people to have wings, claws, or metal arms around here. Bucky can be forgiven for assuming Sam's wings weren't meant to be removeable. Bucky can, Sam assures him, be forgiven for a lot of other things as well. Sam appreciates the concern, though.

Summary
In the year since he broke free from HYDRA, Bucky Barnes has been trying to rediscover himself, searching for who he was in the words of history books and within the memories he is slowly recovering. While journeying through Hungary, he meets a mysterious old woman who promises to help him. He accepts, not realising that her idea of helping involves time travel.
He gets sent back to 1944, into the body of his younger self. Bucky, with no clear idea of how to return to the future, tries his best to rediscover the Bucky that Steve, Peggy, and the Howling Commandos know him to be, whilst also having to deal with a mission straight out of his worst nightmares.

Klaus sat up and pointed at Five. “Now I know what’s wrong with you!”
It seemed Allison couldn’t resist that setup. “Is this going to be an exhaustive list? Don’t know if we have time for that.”
“Shushush, you two.” Klaus flapped one hand dismissively in the direction of Allison and then the fireplace (Ben?) while maintaining his dramatic point with the other. He announced, “It’s skin hunger!”
The room fell so quiet Diego could practically hear Five’s spine creak as he slowly turned to hit Klaus with the flattest stare possible.
After recovering from that disturbing pronouncement, Diego had to point out, “He’s a temporal assassin, not a cannibal.” No response. “Right?”
Five pinched the bridge of his nose and heaved a put-upon sigh.

I would call this “Siblings Semi-Accidentally Form a Support Group for Survivors of Reginald Hargreeves’ Parenting (Plus Former-Timeline Ben Who Did Not Survive But Is Still Invited)” but then I’d never be able to remember the title.

The Icarus Theatre jump gone wrong.
Allison fell. She fell and she fell and she wondered. Is this what Five feels like all the time? It was a fast feeling, like she was sticking her head out of a car window, but all over. Her fingers felt tingly, like pins and needles. Allison felt all of that and more as she fell, but only for a second. Then she slammed into a floor, gasping for air. She laid there for a second, before standing, wobbly. She felt the wind rush past her, whipping her hair in all directions. She was on top of a skyscraper, on what seemed like a helicopter pad. That was the first thing she noticed, was that the air was thin and the ground far below. Swallowing hard, she realised her siblings weren’t with her.
Allison started to panic, felt that helpless bubble of fear well up in her, the same feeling she’d gotten when Vanya’d cut her throat or when she’d seen the moon explode into pieces at the Icarus theater, just moments ago. She turned around and looked up at the top of the skyscraper, where a giant A blazed out over the city. A? thought Allison. What’s the A stand for?

“So you’re going to… What? Just start refusing to go on missions?” Luther’s eyes flick from Allison to Vanya, and she knows that the question that he’s not asking is ‘And in that case, why is she even here?’
Vanya takes a deep breath and Allison starts to say ‘I heard a rumor that you got through this conversation without crying’ (because respect for Ben is one thing but Allison’s not Ben, she doesn’t have his patience, his accepting nature, she is not and has never aspired to be nice in the way he was) but Vanya surprises everyone by saying, “No. Not refusing to go, just getting out.”
Everyone’s looking at Vanya now, so Allison does her the favour of shifting their attention away from her. “Yeah. Vanya’s got it.”
Following Ben's funeral, Allison reflects on her father's advice, comes to her own conclusion about the best way to ensure there's never a next time, and rallies her siblings into doing whatever they need to do in order to protect the family they have left.

Reginald Hargreeves dies alone on March 23rd in his estate. He is clutching a map and a glass of his finest rum. His children return, 1-7, all in a row.
They do not mourn his passing.A pirate au of sorts.
