Summary
Clay had been experiencing a notable improvement in his well-being recently. His sessions with Dr. Ellman had become less frequent, his medication seemed to be effective, and he had been –as his parents had suggested– participating in “normal teenager activities”.
Things were really looking up… Until a fateful night when Seth broke into the Jensen’s home demanding some sort of retribution for Justin’s past actions. He attacks Clay –who was home alone– making it look like a suicide attempt. When Justin finds him, all hell breaks loose.

* One thing I should have made clear at the outset. This is not a massive novel. This is a series of interwoven short stories. Just thought it might be wise to clarify. Lol.
So this is the first chapter in what promises to be an extremely long work. I will add tags as I go along.
There are so many of you out there writing Sherlock Holmes stories and you are all doing such an incredible job and I am such a fan.
I know I am just a voice in the crowd but I hope I am a welcome one.
Please bear with me if I stray from cannon or take artistic license. I'm sure I will misplace details and muddle facts as I go along and I can only hope that you will extend me your forgiveness. ❤️
Please wish me luck with these two because I have been wanting to write about Sherlock Holmes and Watson for 43 years and I have finally worked up the courage to do it now.

So close to returning home, I am captured and held for questioning at a military base in Serbia. This was to be my last task before returning to Baker Street, to my life, to my friends. Even this close to the end I cannot afford for them find out who I really am or why I am here. It will be a test of endurance.
AKA my version of the events that occur in Serbia and shortly thereafter. Sherlock is in for a rough time. I have tried my best to keep it canon compliant.
A huge shout out to the extraordinary Sandrina, without you this would never have seen the light of day. Your sensitive, gentle and kind guidance is just what I needed. Having said that I take full responsibility for all mistakes.

Summary
It is not uncommon for John to go to bed while Sherlock is out and about, running rampant. He’s used to it by now. What he is not used to is waking up to the same empty flat. Sherlock’s bed is undisturbed; identical to how it had been left when John checked last night, on the off chance that Sherlock had slipped in unannounced. John knows that there is something wrong.
Lestrade thinks John is being overly cautious, but agrees to keep an ear out.
It’s almost ten in the morning when John gets a call back.
Leaving well enough alone isn't a phrase in Sherlock Holmes's repertoire.
