But this time it wasn't because of that, alright. To be honest, Dazai was quite certain that everything was solved—that Atsushi would catch him in time."
Or, Dazai was trying to solve a case, but he ends up as another victim... in a different world.
Or or, ADA Dazai Osamu in BEAST universe, having to deal with a BEAST PM boss Chuuya that recently lost his Dazai and is barely holding it together. When he sees ADA Dazai, he completely loses it.

Summary

Shūji Aizawa became Dazai Osamu when he was fourteen years old, working beneath the newly boss of the port mafia. He had left his family behind without another thought because he just couldn’t seem to die, and this doctor would help him. Right?
When Dazai left the Port Mafia and joined the ADA, he buried the last of Shūji in a ditch, content to never dig it up again.
But, when he and his partner, Kunikida, are given an assignment to infiltrate U.A. and work undercover as teachers, he’s forced to face the demons he tried so desperately to bury.

Whenever Dazai’s was like that was like that the other agency members continued on as if Dazai’s light flickering was nothing more than a habit or curse, but Atsushi couldn't help but keep his eyes glued to Dazai’s unmoving frame. To look away was to abandon who he thought Dazai was when they first met.
