Summary
During a joint Young Justice operation with the Bats, Tim is struck by an unknown spell designed to force Robin to relive every injury he’s ever endured, leaving Bruce and the others blindsided as they’re confronted with the devastating fallout.
Cue the fix-it fic where Tim inadvertently calls the bats on all of their bullshit and Kon struggles to get though the ordeal without putting Bruce’s head through a wall.

Andrew isn’t far behind of course, but Neil is firm in his belief that he never actually left the car with Lola. There’s also a flash flood advisory to worry about, and he very much tore out of Fox Tower in nothing but a t-shirt and boxer shorts during a literal tropical storm.

Summary
The mission was supposed to be simple.
All they had to do was be discreet which meant leaving their easily identifiable armor at the door and letting Pidge’s tablet lead them to the artifact, they just had to avoid detection until then and their escape would be secured.
But when there is frighteningly little that actually goes according to plan leaving the paladins injured and in dire need of an extraction, it ceases to matter whether it was a lack of focus or proper intel that got them into the mess.

Keith hadn’t had a serious problem with it in years. And even though he would be lying if he denied the handful of times he had relapsed since Shiro first intervened, the fallout of the Kerberos mission had kind of absolved him of any promises he made to stop.
He isn’t sure whether a promise still stands when it’s been broken so throughly by both parties or if the bounds of space are out of the realm of jurisdiction for a promise made on earth.
The only thing he is certain of now is that he fucked up.
He’s hurt more than just himself this time.

Lance managed to successfully hide the fact that he has epilepsy from the doctors at the Garrison, telling them the hospitalizations on his file were for fibril seizures and that he’d grown out of them. His parents only let him do it because his condition had been under control for a while after he found the right balance of medication once he’d stopped growing.
He hadn’t had a grand mal seizure in years but he’d only had so many pills on his person when he got thrown into this mess of being a defender of the universe... and he’s officially run out.

Summary
The paladins respond to a distress signal on a foreign planet and make quick work of getting its civilians to safety, but on their last sweep surface side they get caught in a quake.
Pidge and Lance are varying degrees of hurt, but Shiro is trapped. He can’t help them. And on top of that, the conditions they’re stuck in are only getting worse. With no access to the coms and no tools to help them, the trio is forced to get creative and make some sacrifices.

He’s on his last inhaler but it’s been running low for about a month. He thought he’d be okay relying on the dehumidifier Pidge rigged up for his room while he milked what was left of it, and he had been relatively fine with just that. It’d actually been weeks since he had an attack. But his lungs are acting up again and he’s officially out of medicine right when Shiro has an agility test planned.

Pidge’s father and brother are out there somewhere while her mother is back on earth, waiting for them all to come home. She can’t just not do something about it.
She has overworked herself all week, not even bothering with sleep in favor of pouring over data late into the night, but she’s also been carrying on as if nothing was wrong. In other words, her ‘i’m okay’ facade is flimsy and raring to break at any moment.
So when she faces a hitch in an attempt to acquire possibly crucial intel that could put her family back together, she can’t steal her nerves quick enough before exhaustion-induced panic sets in. The only issue is that nothing seems to be working to calm her down this time.

The team is distraught once they learn that Lance is seriously hurt and they can’t be there to help him because they’re in the middle of nowhere in space after the disaster that should have been a simple retrieval operation.
They have to travel discreetly so as to not attract the attention of the galra, which means they can’t afford to stop, so talking him through stitching himself back together is the best solution they have.
PSA it’s a bit gory but the feels are worth it
