Summary
Following the events of the series, this tells of the forbidden romance between Zuko and Katara that erupts into a full-blown affair that they must keep quiet from everyone, including their spouses, in order to maintain the peace of the world. Try as they might, the two cannot ignore their feelings for each other, and the consequences of their actions must remain a carefully guarded secret, even from their children. These are the unknown events that come before The Legend of Korra.

Summary
This is a retelling of James Cameron's Avatar with a Last Airbender plot.
Prince Zuko (Jake Sully) is called upon by his father to help him conquer the Water Tribe. Seeing this as the chance to regain his honor, Zuko accepts. Working with his uncle to establish a peaceful settlement with the Water Tribe, Zuko is chosen to be taught the Water Tribe's way of life by Katara (Neytiri). But Zuko is secretly working with Admiral Zhao (Quaritch) to destroy the Water Tribe. But as Zuko learns more about the Water Tribe, and begins developing feeling for Katara, he must choose where his honor truly lies.

As she gets lost in her memories, she dwells on her life choices and how they caused things to end up the way they are now.

Katara manages to save Aang, but is then captured by the Dai Li and is brought before Azula. There she discovers that not only has Iroh been captured, but the Fire Princess has also betrayed Zuko and taken him prisoner as well. Now Azula has something rather sinister in mind for Katara, Zuko, and Iroh involving the Dai Li's hypnosis, and there is nothing any of them can do about it. This is their fate.

Post Book 2.
After betraying Katara in the crystal caves of Ba Sing Se, Zuko returns to the Fire Nation to find it full of corruption. He attempts to help his nation by becoming the Blue Spirit once more and going out at night to fight this corruption. One night, he suddenly runs into the Painted Lady, who is also trying to help the Fire Nation. Zuko is shocked when he recognizes her as Katara, but she remains oblivious as to who he really is. Recognizing the usefulness of having a partner, he agrees to team up with her as they continue to fight the Fire Nation's corruption while keeping his identity hidden. But as they spend time together, Katara develops feelings for him as the Blue Spirit and makes a move on him. Zuko attempts to shoot down her feelings out of morality, but after having lost so many people she loved to the war, Katara isn't willing to give up so easily. Just how long can Zuko resist her, especially when he starts to develop feelings of his own for her?

Faced with this possibility, Katara tries to figure out her feelings for Zuko and come to terms with the idea of marriage between them. As she contemplates their relationship and how it may change, everything comes to a head during one of her healing sessions with her possible future husband.

Summary
Aang and Katara have been married for a year. At Aang's suggestion, they decide to spice up their love life with something called the Spirit Lovers' Ritual, an ancient ritual where they invite two mated spirits into themselves for an intimate experience. They decide to call upon the mated pair of the Blue Spirit and the Painted Lady. However, upon summoning the spirits, a problem with the ritual causes it to go wrong. While the Painted Lady ends up inside Katara, the Blue Spirit accidentally ends up stuck inside Zuko instead of Aang. And the only way to expel the spirits from them is by completing the ritual through consummation. With the spirits inside them drawn to each other, love and lust conflict and collide as Zuko and Katara are forced to face and give in to forbidden temptations while trying to maintain their loyalties.
