Summary
The war has reached a standstill, but Optimus Prime is currently engaged in a different, internal struggle. A near-fatal encounter with Megatron has left her systems severely cross-wired, leading to the inversion of pain and pleasure responses. She seeks aid from her tactician, Prowl, whose proposed solution is as rationally sound as it is utterly unforgiving.
Optimus is characterized as young and callow in this narrative, compared to the majority of Autobots who have already endured millennia of conflict. She is decidedly too young for the leader.
Consequently, the relationship between Optimus and the Autobots is not smooth. You have been warned.
