He glances over, and it’s like he’s fallen all over again. He’s the same, same cyan hair, cyan eyes he hasn’t seen in forever, same pale skin. He sports the same outfit, same blue coat over the same white shirt with xyrs brand on it. Same jeans and colorful sneakers. And yet, xe's so different. Gone are the scars that had defined xem, scars that xe had earned alone and together. Gone are the poppies he’d spent hours weaving into xyrs hair, gone are xyrs gloves and gone is. Xyrs skin looks softer, softer than xe had been able to have it for years. Xyrs ears were pointed and twitching.
It’s xem, and yet it's not. But xe is holding his hand, and everything feels alright, everything feels okay. They could be dead or alive, but all he would need is xem by his side and he’d be okay.
The illusion is shattered with a soft whisper.

Summary
For years, the inhabitants of the country of Origin have lived in peace, knowing no hardship other than what they cause each other. All of this changes when a strange boat appears on the horizon, bringing a new threat: Humans. Headed by Dream, the humans are searching for new land to claim to their home, the kingdom of SMP, ruled by the God-king XD.
