(Aka it is 1908 and Shintaro Midorima, the twenty-year-old son of a prominent British noble is crossing the Atlantic to marry the daughter of a successful American entrepreneur. He believes his fate to be sealed, but the ocean liner by which he travels offers him a most unusual meeting with Kazunari Takao, a man of the working class. He is not aware of how the new acquaintance is about to change his life.)

After their father was killed in a mining accident, Chris left school and went to work in the mines himself to keep his mother and younger brother Liam from starving. Liam is a skilled hunter, though, and despite his brother's wishes often skips school to poach game beyond the fence to sell for extra money. Tom recently took over the bakery from his father, and his family is pretty well off. He creates elaborate pastries and cakes that few people in District 12 can afford, but he also has a reputation for giving away the bread leftover at the end of the day and extending credit to those who can't pay.

Summary
So far I have 9 metas in here - one about the series finale of White Collar and why I think they chose the wrong ending... one about the Mark/Sarah/Hank love triangle in season 4 of the TV series Parenthood, and really about seasons 3 through 6 of the show... one that compares Shameless US & ER as TV series, a meta about character of Klaus on The Vampire Diaries and its spin off show The Originals and how he could fit a real diagnosis for a mental (personality) disorder, one about Finn's death on Glee/Cory Monteith's death in real life (with minor references to Judging Amy), one about why I headcanon Marley on Glee as asexual, one about how I relate to the child abuse storylines in the Harry Potter series (especially the first book/movie) and in the fairy tale of Hansel & Gretel, a post about a bunch of fandoms and abusive/neglectful/abandoning mothers (or just parents) and how I relate, and finally, my thoughts on Pretty Little Liars after recently binge watching and seeing the entire series (so far) for the first time. I plan to add a bunch of Criminal Minds meta to this asap too. I have a lot of thoughts.

As each day goes by, getting closer and closer to New York, the unlikely pair both make decisions that will change their own lives as well as inspire one another to do things they never would have imagined doing.

The Titanic is the ship of dreams for those looking westward to America hoping for wealth and jobs, and after watching his family fall into debt after his grandfather's death, Thorin Durinson looks westward in hope of finding a steady income and way to provide for his family. The only problem is that he must leave behind his two nephews and after hearing about his plan, the two nephews make a plan of their own. Finnigan and Killian have never been anywhere without their uncle and are not simply going to watch as he journeys beyond their grasp for what seems to be the last time.
The two brothers make plans of their own and decide that they're going to join their uncle on his adventure, but first, they must find a way to sneak onto the ship right under the noses of the crew and their beloved uncle.
