However, that all changes one night when someone hacks into his computer. At first, L is furious that anyone would dare to hack into his computer and he couldn’t figure out who had done it, but after the hacker helped him solve a case the two form a strange bond. Soon after, the Wammy House gets two new students, one of which is a self-made hacker.
