Summary
Bdubs is a professional supernatural hunter. He’s on a team with his childhood friend Cleo and newfound friends Grian and Joel.
He’s never had an encounter with an actual supernatural being before, but that changed during his first solo patrol mission.
He never expected to be protected by the very thing he sought to destroy.
Or: Etho is a vampire and Bdubs is a human. Both of their lives change forever the second they meet. Little did they know how much impact their actions would have on their friends’ lives too.

“What’s going on with you guys?” Xisuma sighed, deciding that cutting to the chase would be so much easier. “Is this about your argument the other day?” He asked, looking between Etho and Grian.
“How do you know about that?” Grian asked in surprise.
“You almost tore the server apart,” Xisuma deadpanned, then settled his eyes on Etho. “And Voidwalkers are very sensitive to changes to the fabric of the Void.”
“My bad. Sorry.”

After Etho and Tommy’s heart to heart, Tommy finally feels ready to come clean to a couple of members of the server. Upon seeing his estranged younger brother, though, Grian doesn’t give Tommy a lot of time to adjust before he’s being made to fly. Only this time, he’s got some people ready to catch him

Well, this was one of those fairytales where the prince ate the apple, which doomed the princess.

Etho is being kept alive by the magic of golden apples, self-preservation, and a glaring lack of a soulmate; a walking dead.
Joel is now just plain dead.
Grian and Scar will pay the price.
Etho will kill until he's the only one left, he'll take any life.
After all, whether he takes damage or not is inconsequential.
The makeshift graveyard will be lit with candles.
It's him against the world now, he's all alone.
He just needs to win so they can all go home.

“Bdubs, Please don't.” he says, panting slightly, having run the entire way through Bdubs base looking for him.
Bdubs brakes at the sight of his friend, silent ears start to slide down his face as he shakily gets off the chair. Etho sprints over, helping him get down.
“D-do you want to talk about?” Etho asks, as Bdubs sits, hesitantly sitting next to him.
Silence fill the room for a few minutes before Bdubs talks, “I want to kill myself.” he says, “I don’t want to be alive anymore. You guys would be better off anyway.” he says, pulling his knees up to his chest, setting his chin on his knees, “I only ruin things, and make problems worse.”
Etho takes a deep breath, “you don’t know this.” Etho says, “nobody does, but if you weren’t around, I’d be long dead.” he says lowering his mask, so it rests around his neck.
or, Bdubs wants to kill himself, and Etho tells him how Bdubs unknowing stopped Etho from killing himself to show Bdubs he is loved.
