Fyodor attacks mafia boss Mori Ougai and agency president Yukichi Fukuzawa with a mysterious biological agent that targets and corrodes internal organs within 48 hours. Dazai informs Dr. Yosano that Fyodor described the agent as a virus, but Dr. Yosano isn’t so sure that Fyodor’s telling the truth. She investigates the matter with the agency’s and Kouyou's help. Meanwhile, Chuuya tracks down the scum who shot Dazai.
Note from 2021 (years after this fic was initially written): I have decided to orphan this work and move on from fanfic writing, so there will not be any more chapters. I was initially going to add more chapters as more information about the virus came in from the manga, but the manga has long since moved on from this point. Consider this work an exploration at around the time chapters 45 and 46 were published.
