The smithy had always been strange. They’d been strange from the day the chain meet them, with warnings from guards and fear from townsfolk. They’d been strange when they spoke of traitors and brothers.
But the chain still trusted them. The smithy was a hero just like everyone one of them. Yet the violet in their eyes bore into the soul and the pommel of their blade swirled with a darkness. The way they spoke in that cold manner made a sense of dread curl up in the chain’s stomach.

The Shadow smirked. “Hands, my friend. I can get you out of there. You’re not looking too good, though. You considering losing the legs, or what?”
Warriors just snarled.
“Look, I’ll get you free. Minimal damage, and you can just walk away. That’s that. But I want you to tell me what you know about Link.”

oneshot. Shadow gets resurrected in Twilight'a era, and Warriors is the first to find him. or rather, be found by him. Shadow helps him walk, Wars helps him get out of the maze, and in the end Shadow tackles Four in the rain.

Summary
Kakariko City is a bustling coastal city, home to entrepreneurs, CEOs, local tech companies, artists, and every sort of person you could imagine, including criminals. The local criminal underground houses a considerable sum of criminals, and gang activity is simply a day-to-day occurrence.
The most notorious of these gangs is a crew with nine known members called the Chain. The Chain is known by the public as the crew who consistently fails overly-elaborate heists on hilariously small targets. To the criminal underground, however, they are the most prominent enemy of the Yiga gang and the most dangerous crew on this side of Hyrule. Each member of the Chain is known to have their own unique set of skills, and when they choose to get along, those who get in their way know them to be an unstoppable force. Some even say they have connections to the mafia.
What many don’t know is where these infamous criminals came from, so settle down, and I will tell you the tale of how this crew came to be.

Shadow turned slowly, trying to keep half an eye on Dark. He didn't like the guy one bit. There was just something…off about him.
But when he turned around, all other thoughts left his mind. Because lit by a flickering brazier behind him, just like the others in the circle, was Link.

Summary
Despite what most people seem to assume, Wild is still Link, even after the one hundred year nap and resulting amnesia. He is still the last living Champion of Hyrule, still capable of doing everything he could do before he got whacked by too many Guardian beams and discovered that a century of sleep was not something he'd ever recommend anyone else try.
There's only really one big difference between Link one hundred years ago and Wild now, amnesia aside, and that is this: Wild cannot concentrate. Focusing? Never heard of her. Paying attention is hard and draining and most of the time not really worth expending the mental energy to do.
But people don't realise that Wild is still one hundred percent able to fight the way he did before the Calamity. There are just... a few side effects now.
A.K.A. Wild is lore-accurate in combat for three minutes, and then passes out for half a day, much to the general bafflement of everyone else.

Summary
Dragons.
There are many kinds of dragons and they can be found almost everywhere. In the skies, the oceans, even digging through your trash.
While running for his life, Link stumbles across a baby dragon about his age. Taking her with him, he gains his best friend.
A mysterious portal sends Link and his dragon companion to the past just when things were calming down again. With no other choice, they have to team up with Dragon Whisperers from across the timeline to get to the bottom of things.
Aka: I got inspired by my favorite movie trilogy and gave everyone in the chain dragons. (The types are based off of that one chart from I think Reddit. If ykyk) Then I did too much character and world building to not turn it into a fic.

Meeting the Chain, but in chronological order by how the games were released! Inspired by a Tumblr post (how do I link things on this site?) that I could not get to leave me alone, so here we are. (Will not be including the Master Door, despite it being the best thing I have seen come out of the insanity of Linked Universe Tumblr.)

Link had no idea where he was. Which is usually normal for him, except for the fact that he had been sucked through a creepy portal.
Link was already having a bad day, what with his half-sister's festival he refused to go to and his business partner deciding now was a good time to visit Lorule (which meant he gets to run the shop that he has no clue how to do!). The kid in green on his doorstep did not improve his day, unfortunately.

Wolfie reared back from the women with a violent sneeze. Hyrule tripped over thin air. Wind’s eyes went comically wide. Sky made a weird squawking noise. Four’s mouth dropped in silent horror.
“Oh, how wonderful!” Warriors said, serenely oblivious to the chaos happening around him. And Legend?
Legend was going to kill everyone in the Chain and then himself. Because are you fucking serious.
Time gets pregnant. Everyone else notices this before he does.
(AKA: I saw all the trans!Time headcanons, and then thought, "Wait, if Twilight is his canonical blood descendent then that means..." promptly followed by, "You know what would be really fucking funny.")
